I was starting to give up hope for using my USB ports to add displays. I have tried a few "docking stations" and none would do what I needed them to do. This Wavlink actually has built in GPU and that apparently is what I needed for my MSI laptop. I am currently using it with one of my USB-C ports and it literally was plug and play once I downloaded the required driver. In pic provided I am only using the USB-C port to display my other monitors. I still have my laptops HDMI port available so I could easily add a 4th monitor now. As you can see in my picture it does support extending the screen. I am using Windows 11, Intel i7 CPU. This is what you need!

Luv this thing! Have my HP all in one pc hooked up to my main (TV) dispay directly with the only HDMI port. Plugged this unit into an open USB port then connected another TV and a portable display thru the 2 HDMI outputs if this device. Windows picked up on everything seamlessly and now I have 4 displays from one PC -- all extended (no mirroring-- though I could if I wanted to)

I use 3 extended monitors. I'm a display snob, so I needed all DVI or HDMI. My desktop fried, and the replacement had 1 HDMI, 1 VGA, and 2 USB3 ports. At first I said "Well, let's try the VGA and the USB3 to VGA adapters that are a bit cheaper than others". ugh, i felt like I left my glasses off trying to focus on the fuzzy screen. Nope, gotta have the DVI or HDMI.I said "OK, I'll try the USB3 to HDMI converters I've seen online." And they didn't work. Screens just kept flickering, and I was using both my USB3 ports. Frustrated, I look for USB3 to DVI, which most are way over priced ($60+/- for one port).I find this one which claims to be able to handle 2 EXTENDED displays (not just mirrored) at the same time, for half the price other have to do one. I say "Well, let's give it a shot."And it works. Halle-fricken-lujah, I finally have my 3 monitors back again, all with sharp resolution thanks to the simultaneous use of the HDMI and DVI ports on the Wavlink adapter.**Special note that I didn't see except on the product box. The DVI and VGA ports can NOT be used simultaneously. HDMI+DVI and HDMI+VGA is the method to get 2 extended displays

Worked great when I got it, but it failed after 4 months (multiple computers would not recognized that it was plugged in).Supposedly has a 12-month warranty; have e-mailed the information to the company. We'll see if they honor it; I'll let you know the result, and change the rating if they do right.EDIT:Warranty replacement arrived 6 days after I contacted WavLink. Superior service!

It's indeed plug and play. Had the extra screen working in extend mode in under two minutes. Seemed like a great little gizmo, until is stopped working all together within two days. Got a replacement and that one worked for even less time.Checked all drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled, unplugged and plugged but no luck. Look elsewhere

I wanted to connect two external monitors to use in addition to my laptop screen. I was able to extend the laptop display to both monitors, and it was easy to set up. It does want to change the sound default to the adapter, which is weird, so when I plug it in, I have to manually change the sound back to my laptop speakers because I have no other audio devices connected to the adapter to send to. I would buy this again if I needed another adapter. The price was reasonable.

Wife was "temporary" remote working and then it became permanent. Bought a Dell desktop (Inspiron 3891) which only had one HDMI port. We needed two monitors, but didn't want them mirrored so an HDMI splitter wasn't an option. Tried using the VGA on the computer and LED monitor, but the image was awful with blurry text and ghost images. Ended up buying the WAVLINK adapter and used it to connect the DVI D connection on the monitor to a USB 3.0 port on the computer. Was totally plug and play (no drivers needed to be downloaded or installed) and now have HD quality on the monitor. Product worked as advertised and would recommend.
