The title says it all. This unit is very easy to read from a distance due to its bright and colorful display. Setup is a snap. This is from a person that will not tolerate glitchy electronics. If it doesn't work correctly immediately, it's garbage and gets returned or tossed. This worked correctly immediately. Accurate display with a no trainer set up. Really like looking at it.

The weathertech is on a bedroom dresser. The only thing I dislike is every time there is a power disruption the clock reverts to Pacific time zone, but was previously set to Eastern.

After 5 years my previous weather station stopped working and was no longer available to purchase again. So I ordered a unit (Kalevol) on Amazon and at first was fairly happy with it except that the display wasn't very bright and sharp from a distance. Then I found that the unit would go dark several times a day for 7 minutes. This was so very irritating. Thinking it was just defective I ordered a replacement. The 2nd one did the same thing. Turned out this was in my opinion a design flaw. Both units were returned. The 2nd unit had a sticker on it indicating it would shut off but the 1st unit did not have this sticker. Would not recommend at all.

We have had several Atomic Weather Station clocks over the years. I love how the outside temperature temperature part displays the temperature. I just wish the date e was easier to read. The green light for the date is extremely difficult to see and read, not to mention to small. The clock is also difficult to read. Though, I like it my parents can't read it, so it will be returned.
