Originally when I received the product I only got 7 bars but when I requested a replacement it came pretty quickly with the right amount of bars. The weights are really nice and I could definitely wear it for a while and feel the results. Would definitely recommend.

So I needed to train for a ruck requiring me to wear a 45 lb vest. I needed to work up to it over two months from a 10 lb vest up to the max 45 lbs. wore the vest to work out 5 days a week and hit my goal. vest is in as good condition today as the day it arrived and it has put in a huge number of miles.

Title:Terrific Weight Vest Set To Improve My Power Walking Workouts And Gain Muscle As Well! ;o)Hello there, nice to meet you! ;o)I've been power walking for years. That said, I read an article how to up my game using this weighed vest to improve my muscle tone and overall fitness. I stumbled on this wonderful, complete combo set of not only the weighed vest, leg weights and arm weights on Amazon, and decided to give this whole caboodle set a try. Needless to say, BEST.DECISION. EVER!This quality, well sewn, weighed vest is adjustable and fit my body really well. (For the record, I'm a 5' 9" woman, with a little bit of weight to lose or rather, to firm up-- hence getting into this new version of exercising to up my game. ;o) The leg weight wraps and the arm weight wraps are well made too. So far, so good!But here's where your mileage may vary... the collection of steel plates actually differ in weight... when you and I know that they should be exactly the same, considering how they are manufactured. My weighing of these steel bars may be off for this review... but they did range from approximately 10.8 oz to 10.3 oz as best I can recall, as I did this 'double-checking' about a month ago. So you could be off by a couple of pounds, is what I'm trying to say. For those who prefer exact measurements like me for my fitness log, I do like precise numbers of how much weight I carried historically during my workouts. That said, a workaround is to take the time to measure these sets of bars and generate an ideal set of bars that approximate the exact weight you wish to carry while working out. Hopefully, I'm making sense here? ;o)Lastly, the shipping box carrying so much weight in steel bars, does leave a lot to be desired. For such a beautiful, well made kit, it would nice if the seller could improve the packaging a bit. My box kinda sorta made it to my house, but I could see this failing for others receiving the set.Despite a few shortcomings I encountered with this weighed vest set, it is highly recommended, as it accomplishes what it is set out to do.I wish you all luck in your workout journey! This vest is very sturdy. It comes with weights in small increments so you can increase the weight slowly. The Velcro allows you to adjust it to be very fitted and it is easy on and easy off. I am very short waisted so the shoulder portion is long on me and cause the shoulder straps to bunch up a bit but this is my problem and not the vest's. I'm very please with the fact that I won't have to purchase another one for a long time.

I bought it for my son who is 20 years old and is planning on getting the military. I bought him that vest and the ankle weights so he can train as if he has a rucksack on him. He absolutely loves it he has wanted to the gym, when he goes to run in the neighborhood. And takes it to the track at the park.

I'm impress by this vest quality and abundance of the options. You get not just a vest for your chest and back but also hands and leg pieces.It should be noted that there are 64 weights, each weight is approximately 0.68 lb that adds to 44 lbs as stated in the description.Love this vest.

Couple things I have to say about this. The first is that I appreciate how it is generally breathable so that I am not a sweaty mess compared to other vests I have worn. That also means that this won't start stinking the place up. The second is that it is nice to have more flexibility to keep bends and twists more natural. In the second comment I suppose my more direct comparison there is body armor that always makes me sympathize with how turtles must feel.So far I have been using this to enhance pushups and pull ups which it does well.
