My sister has cancer, and is cold when she is sleeping at night in Indiana where winters are cold.I kept telling her a heated mattess cover is what she needed.I sent her the Westinghouse heated mattress cover. It had lots of features i knew would have benefits shecould use.When i called her and ask her if she used it, she said i was the best gift i have given her, now her feet is warm at night, she kept thanking me for sending it to her.Joe

Dual controls, smooth finish, big enough to accommodate a very thick mattress. This is a good value for the cost.

Bought 1 for my son and 1 for me . Never slept better . it warms quickly and even on the lowest setting it stays nicely comfortable. Well worth the money. My son also loves it

OMgoodness, there are too many choices. This one clicks to loud, another's cord is to short, another doesn't heat evenly... aaaahhhh. These things were flying in and out of my cart. The big negative on this I kept reading was the click and the lighting. I find the click to be of no issue at all. The control I think is very intuitive without needing to 'see it'. The digital number lights up once you click anything and I love that the light goes out after a moment. The buttons are raised... up/down on each side of the display... one side for temp, the other side for time. Right away I can use it without needing to look at it... button locations are very easy find and differentiate. I have an extremely thin (cooling) mattress pad for my husband and I could feel the wires. I put a normal mattress pad over the warming pad (as I've done for 15yrs) with the thin one over THAT, and it performs great- evenly and head to toe. The cord is a great length... I'm happy with it and even happier to be done shopping for it!

My Softheat perfectfit gave up the ghost after 5 years (I believe they are out of business). That seems to be the life for heated mattress pads (coincidentally (?), many manufacturers offer a five year warranty). So I bought this Westinghouse in queen as I wanted one without the connector plug in the top center/foot of the bed--hard to find. The connector plugs for this were on the top corners at the foot of the bed. I sleep in the center so no issues for my feet there. Side skirt fabric was pretty strong and had an impressively thick piece of elastic on all four sides (when manufacturers skimp on the elastic width the pads shift and bunch up). That concludes the pro. I put this on low and it was way too hot to sleep on -- in the middle of the bed zone. The top and bottom had NO warmth at all. Fine on the top/pillow part but like most, my feet are the coldest part of my body and to have no heat makes this a no-star value. The controls "go dark" when on which did not work for me as I had to press a button to see where it was set. There's a reason this only has 92 revus and others have 7,400. Buyer beware!
