Setup wasn't too hard. Just make sure the application has Bluetooth permissions set. In order to send an alert to multiple phones, just log into the app with the same account information, and the already setup device is visible. Pushing the button sends the alert to every phone.

The Chatthen Wifi Panic Button/Pager is a very good product especially if you have seniors around the household. Works with Wifi at home. Easy to follow instructions, just download the Tuya App. Pairing was easier with iPhone and with the Android phone (we just need to try it twice). Tested it out and it notified both my husband and my phone. Really great that there's no monthly fee. Highly recommend this.

Overall, this is a nice device at a reasonable price. Definitely would recommend with the caveat about the power settings in the app.Pros:* Reasonably priced* Works as advertised.* Phone response time is about 30 seconds.* Easily connects to wifi (please see additional comments about power settings in the "Cons" section.)* Alexa can be programmed (via a routine) to broadcast a message in case you don't have your phone nearby.* Product comes with both a lanyard and double-stick tape so you can either wear the button around your neck or place it in a fixed location.Cons:* Android app must be set up to always run and not allow the phone to put the app to sleep. This consumes more battery power since the phone can't turn off apps that aren't being used. For the record, I have not checked to see how much of an impact this has on battery life.* Instructions for turning off battery management on Android phones differ dramatically from the menu titles on my phone - which is a very new Samsung. Although the initial set up in the app was very easy, I spent a really long time trying to figure out how to make the necessary power setting adjustments since the instructions didn't align with my phone's menus. This is why I took off one star.

This product is perfect for what we needed. My 84 yr old grandmother just moved in and we wanted an option for her to contact me if I were somewhere else in the home ( I am her full time caregiver) but wanted to avoid the kind that requires a monthly subscription. This device works off a downloaded app on my phone and did not require additional costs or set up. Very easy to set up and easy for her to use. It’s also supposed to work even if I’m outside if the home and she hits the button although we have yet to try that feature out. Purchased 3 weeks ago and it’s still at 100% battery life ( app alerts to when to charge it as well). So far we are pleasantly surprised by how well this is working for our situation and the app does have the option to subscribe to a monthly service that would allow her to contact emergency services if needed but we do not have a need for that as this time. One of the most affordable options we found and very user friendly. Highly recommend this product.
