+ Adjustable volume and bright flashing light+ Very loud at highest setting, be careful when testing and stay as far away as possible from unit+ long lead wires (16' each) with sensors (2), easy to put sensor on floor and unit up on wall+ priced reasonably and good quality+ dual sensor, one side lies nearly flat for floor, other side slightly raised for drip situations- very poor instructions- battery replacement process not clear and somewhat difficult. You have to unscrew two screws on the back and pry the old battery from very strong double sided tape. Not a clear process with no instructions. Company responded to my email, but I already figured it out myself. Deducted one star for this.- no low battery signal, remember to replace each year.

I live in Puerto Rico where lack of water service is a constant issue. I purchased this product to know when the water level in my cistern is getting low and when it has been refilled (i.e. the city supply has recovered). This product does exactly that. I looked at many different products and settled on this one. I love the simplicity of it and the price. It is battery powered (so you don't need to have an electrical outlet nearby), can be controlled by an app that was easy to set up and also has an audible alarm on the device itself if you don't want to use the app. Call and text message alerts to you phone can be purchased at an extra cost. This product is an excellent value.

I love that this flooding alarm has two sensors and a strobe. I also love that the volume can be adjusted.I didn't like that there are ZERO instructions. ( I guessed and took it apart only to find a cheap 9V battery had already been installed. ) I also don't like that there is no way to test without pulling a strobe and running it under water. Lastly, there are no mounts for the main unit or probes. I'll keep them but will replace the battery and test before I install (near my basement sink,pump and water filtration system)

Water Leak Detector with Dual Probe, 16.4ft Per Probe Cord, Max 120 dB Adjustable Audible & Visual Water Sensor,I ordered this leak detector because we have a pump house on our ranch that we also use to store items that can’t freeze. Some of them are sensitive to moisture, so I want to know if there is a water leak from the plumbing in the pump house. This seems like a very basic detector, which I like. The instructions say that the main unit is not waterproof, so it needs to be mounted in a protected place. There are 2 probe wires and the probes appear to just be 2 pieces of metal that when shorted, complete the circuit and sound the alarm. It’s a very simple system that also has a flashing light. It has an on/off/volume knob on the side, which adjusts the alarm sound level. I tried it out by dipping the sensor in a glass of water and it worked perfectly right out of the box. I also tried just wetting my finger and it worked with just that amount of dampness. I don’t think I will need to extend the wires, but the instructions say that you can add up to 20 meters of additional length. You can also cut and re-connect the wires for routing through walls. I’m impressed with the simple function, and usefulness of this detector. I purchased the single unit for around $11, which is very reasonable. I’m very happy with this product, and highly recommend it to protect against leaks and water damage.

The alarm works exactly as expected. The issue is that the description says that the "Power Source" is "Corded Electric" as well as 9V battery. It isn't designed for an AC plug, but battery only. The suggested additional items included an USB C adapter. But, there was no USB C port.My needs were for an AC powered unit. Instead of returning it, I bought a 9V-AC adapter, drilled a hole in the side of the unit and powered it up that way. It works and is now AC powered.It is for that reason, I gave it 3 stars.

Testé c'est parfait. Basic mais efficace ! Pour mon entrée de garage enterré qui prends l'eau en cas de fortes pluies. L'alarme c'est déclenché dans la nuit cela a permis d'être réactif, de brancher la pompe. Génial pas besoin de surveiller sans cesse pour savoir si l'eau rentre. J'avais acheté auparavant des capteurs wifi mais cela passe pas depuis mon garage et le volume de la sonnerie était bien trop faible. Avec ce modèle, 120 dB c'est très efficace ! En plus une simple alimentation de pile 9v,totalement autonome surtout que les boxs peuvent lâcher avec des orages. Efficacité

Nos ha llegado este dispositivo para detectar fugas de agua cuando se produzcan que está muy bien y que llevo tiempo buscándolo.Se trata de una alarma con 2 sensores que cuando estos se humedecen, se puentean y hace que suele la alarma, de unos 120 decibelios, con lo cual si o si te vas a enterar de que se está saliendo el agua.Para su funcionamiento hace falta una pila de 9v que trae y que se puede sustituir cuando se agote, que imagino que será en bastante tiempo ya que lo normal, es que no suene.En mi caso lo he instalado en el sótano de la comunidad, donde están las bombas de agua, y los depósitos de estas, ya que una vez se rompieron el flotador y provoco una enorme inundación. Con esto sea a la hora que sea, en caso de que el agua llegue, la alarma sonara y se puede bajar a cerrar las llaves de paso con lo cual se mitiga el daño que pueda producirse.Cosas a mejorar son las instrucciones, ya que el aparato trae un interruptor que en ningún lado dice que hay que activarlo y además este se puede regular el volumen. Yo cuando lo puse por primera vez al ver el sonido me pareció una mier... pero luego me di cuenta que se puede regular a mas decibelios girando aun mas el interruptor algo fundamental cuando esta en un sotano con 2 puertas de entrada.

Ich hab mir diesen Wasser Melder gekauft um ihn unter einer Duschwanne zu verbauen und es ging super.Vor ab hab ich natürlich einen Test am Waschbecken durchgeführt und es reagiert auf eine sehr kleine Menge an Spritzwasser und auf Oberflächen Wasser mit einem einstellbaren schrillen Ton und einem Blinklicht.Das alles wird von einer Batterie versorgt die mitgeliefert wird und schon montiert ist.Ich selbst habe das Kästchen unter das Waschbecken mit Doppelseitigen Klebeband geklebt das reicht da es kaum Gewicht hatWer sorge um einen Wasserschaden im Bad oder Waschhaus und Küche hat spezielle in Vermieteten Objekten sollte so etwas haben da man sich auf die Mieter nicht immer verlassen kann was die Inspektion von Silikonfugen angehtEin tolles und hilfreiches Angebot
