I purchased this item as a Christmas Gift. It is a very nice weather station for the money. It was a great buy. Ordering was easy and I had text alerts on the order status and when it was delivered. The weather station was inside of a plastic mailing envelope and was in great condition (as expected). My entire experience was very positive. I like weather stations like this so I have the actual conditions at the location the weather station is installed. I would buy it again. Thanks!

This was a promising purchase at the price point, but the moon phase display was off by 1/2 a month. For example, when set to the correct date/time/timezone, etc the moon phase displayed a new moon, when in fact the moon was at full on that date. No way to adjust the phase either...should have been automatic.

It says to put the sensor out of the sun. I’m wanting to use this in my bedroom and you have to have the sensor within so many feet of the unit. Outside of my bedroom is the west side of the house and it gets all afternoon sun and in the summer that would be very very hot! So I don’t know how you can make it work because I don’t know where to put the sensor. So unfortunately I will have to send it back. Otherwise if you have a good place to put it, it looks like a nice unit!
