While I am not new to using weights, this book will help me stay on track in a more consistent way. I highly recommend it!

This book is set up brilliantly, especially if you are at a beginner or intermediate level. It has weekly plans that are easy to follow, plus a huge section of exercises that you can do on your own if you don't want to follow the weekly plan. The pictures and descriptions are easy to follow. I wouldn't change a thing about this book. It's perfect.

This is an excellent book but you almost need to be in pretty good shape before starting this. I think it’s geared more to the younger crowd. Day 1 is 3 sets of 20 each pushups and same of squats. I’m in pretty good shape but no way can I do 60 pushups right out of the shoot. I plan to follow this but need to work up to it.

This is a fantastic book!! My workouts had been getting stale and bought this to change things up. Did it ever!! Each day gives you a different workout so it definitely keeps you challenged. Pictures are great but it would be nice if the font was a bit bigger.

I love that the book is spiral bound. It makes it so much easier to lay the book flat and look down and the various exercises during the workout.I don't love that the exercises are listed in a separate section. If users don't know what the exercises are on the list, they have to flip to another section to find out how to perform the exercise and then flip back to the schedule. Also, I don't want to be pedantic, but this is billed as a 12 week exercise plan. However, this does not include a 2 week prelude to acclimate the body to strength training. It's a minor quibble, but that makes this a 14 week plan, not a 12 week plan.Aside from these minor issues, this is a great plan. There is a ton of detailed information including lots of photos to show users how to perform the exercises. There is also plenty of motivational tidbits to keep users from getting discouraged.I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone who is interested in strength training.
