I'm a child of the 70s and although I can't place them exactly I know these were around somewhere when I was growing up, so it's super nostalgic to me. It's well made and "flies" beautifully when given a little tug on the string. Quality item that would make a fantastic gift. Highly recommend!

This wooden seagull reminds me of my home state of California ~ there were always so many gulls around. I used to see these type of wooden gulls when I lived out there so when I saw this I just had to have it. It's hanging from an overhang above my balcony. I can pull the cord to make it flap it's wings or just let it blow in the breeze. Kids love these type of toys, I know I did, so my grands will get a kid out of it the next time they visit.

As a former Island dweller, I can't express how delightful this is. With a 20 inch wingspan and hanging 20 inches below its hook and having a 10 inch string below that, it can hang in the middle of my living room and not interfere with traffic, but be easily set in motion even by my smallest grandson. The picture does not do it justice, it is a really nice wooden decoration.

Cute for a nursery or nautical themed room. We live by the water so it was a nice touch to the house. The movement is nice and fun for the young ones.
