fit my lathe well, excellent quality machining, it should last for years, holds the wood very well due to many attachment holes.

Good size faceplate for the price. No issues with the threads or balance. Fit my 1" x 8 tpi lathe head perfectly. It rusted pretty quickly when left on green wood for a day, so make sure to wax/protect it or clean it up when done done. The rust cleaned off easily enough, and was mostly my own fault so doesn't change my opinion on this being a good deal.

Item arrived quickly, well-packaged, as described. This is a reversible faceplate with 4 holes (90 degrees apart) available for using the 2 setscrews that come installed. Faceplate is well-machined, mounting holes are concentric, face surface runs almost dead flat with only 0.002" of wobble. Only downside is that it requires a (non-standard, 39/40mm?) wrench that is larger than the one that came with my Jet lathe; so I made my own... problem solved. I recommend this product.

Just what I needed for my lathe. Are I used sticky back sandpaper 6 inches round and stick it to it? And I've got a perfect sander. Try it, you'll like it.

After receiving this item I tried screwing on the lathe and it didn’t fit my spindle. I double checked what I ordered and it didn’t match what I needed. So beware. At least I was able to return without shipping costs.

PROS: Just like their face plate previously reviewed, it's Nicely machined and polished, good amount of mounting holes, decent screw in one-sided wood holder, sturdy and thick aluminum, appears durable and built to last. CONS: You must have 1"x8TPI shaft lathe, I found a slight wobble/run out on mine, but it is most likely my 3/4" shaft adapter...still works well for some hard woods, not so well on soft woods and pine (they won't stay screwed on center when cutting in)...Overall great value for this size screw center plate. Enjoy!
