The is well made and works great. It might be better to put a spring in it if you’re going in the woods. Held up for years.

Solid well built mount. I use mine for a 17 foot vertical ham radio antenna mounted to a 2 foot ground spike. The mistake I made was not realizing that it was designed only as a horizontal mount. So after a few simple modifications it works very well for me

3/8 mount for amateur radio antennas. Made of nicely finished aluminum and the SO-239/ 3/8 connectors seem well made. You can mount it on a vertical or horizontal rail.
