I used this to seal my roof carrier on my Transit. So far no leaks. The other use was to repair my favorite old boots. The sole at the heel started to flap so I put this between the shoe and the sole and guess what-holding like a champ!

Replaced moisture barrier in jeep door. Tape adhered to door great, moisture barrier adhered to tape easily. Very good product !

I would have preferred this product to be 1/4 to 1/2" wide. Used on my enclosed moving trailer to re-seal where the front sheet metal meets the galvanized metal stone shield on bottom front of trailer. Trailer is 16 yrs old and previous caulking used where these two surfaces meet had started to fail and allowed water to flow in and damage some of the wood in the front lower half of trailer. Had to remove sheet metal screws of lower metal portion enough to pull it away and allow me to place adhesive strip between them. This stuff sticks immediately to anything it touches so at 3/4", it was a little bit of a challenge to scissor it between the tow pieces of sheet metal before sticking where I didn't want it to stick, but it finally worked. This area won't leak again. This product came properly packaged in a flat box with a spacer in the center to keep its shape. As others had recommended, I put the box in the refrigerator until I was ready to use it and no problems. Just remember to put it back after use.

This stuff is really good -- and comes packaged insanely well like an Apple product. This is a company that understands that butyl tape needs to be protectively packaged, knowing that it sucks when a product comes to the customer's door looking like a chewed wad of gum. Quality of the tapes seems high as well and applied easily and well to my flashing/sealing of roofing components.

This sealant tape actually works great. It is malleable, had great tack, and appears to actually be water tight.One tip: I would suggest a Magic Eraser or similar scrubbing tool to remove any excess residue. It comes off easily that way.

This stuff is perfect for our needs. It was used it to seal around the deck posts under the new composite and we know we've improved the deck's water-tightness and longevity. It took some time to get it properly, and neatly affixed, but now that it's done, we feel very confident in it.

Bought this butyl tape to reinstall factory glass in my van doors and a new roof vent. Stop using silicone, this is the right product to use. Easy and water tight. As long as you know what you are doing.

This stuff works great. It arrived in perfect condition. I’m renovation an older 1984 motorhome. I’m using it everywhere. It’s sticky but not too sticky. I’ve done one window and the ladder so far. It cuts easily and molds to where I want it. I liked it so much I ordered a second roll. And will get more as I need it. I couldn’t find it anyplace else. Thanks!!!
