The photosensors I received were slightly different in their performance. One of them would almost-sort-of provide some readings with the included discs, but the other would barely output any data.But this is not the fault of the photosensors. The included encoder discs are absolutely useless for these sensors, and from the looks of them, for pretty much any sensor. The openings in the disc should be very close to the same width as the material between them. On these, the material between the slots is extremely narrow, making them useless.The photosensors seem decent, but the cost is too high for just those parts.

I'm unable to get a proper quadrature output with the included disks. I believe the slots are too fine for the sensor. I can get the desired output with other disks.
