I read this was a great replacement for Malibu timers photo electric cells. Mine died, but I'm glad I kept it. The plug end of the goodmann sensor was too large, and no amount of trimming would make it fit. I cut off the plug it came with, attached the original plug and it worked fine. The wiring size was identical. It has almost the same sensitivity as the previous one. If you're using this as a replacement, just make sure you keep your old photocell plug around, as you might need it.

Works perfectly with my Hampton Bay configuration. Just plug in (the hard part is finding exactly where the prongs go in smoothly) and plant the photo-sensor somewhere away from artificial light. Voila!

Old senser died and wanted to get replacement and found here in Amazon. Reasonable price and it works.

This fit just right in my Malibu transformer and now my lights turn on at dusk and off at dawn, no more manually turning them off and on. Great replacement for most low voltage transformers.

My HD Hampton Bay landscape transformer was 4 years old and stopped working. I found out that it was the photocell that was the problem by unscrewing the photocell fitting and trying the Manual on/off. Ordered this from Amazon and it fit and worked perfectly. Easy install as you only need to unscrew the fitting at the bottom of the transformer and push in and screw back this one. I want to make everyone sure that this item does fit and works perfectly with the Hampton Bay and is an easy install. Costs much less than buying a new transformer.
