This is a nice mailbox at a great price. It came with two keys, mounting hardware, weather seals for the screws, and instructions. It has a very nice wrought iron type of finish, and appears to be well made. When you open the top, there is a mail slot that I was not able to get my hand into. It open, closes, locks, and unlocks nicely. I have it installed on a sheltered porch, so have no idea if rain can get into it. Overall, very nice in my opinion.

The mailbox is well made. It has good weight. The price point is good. The metal doesn't feel cheap or flimsy like thin aluminum that can easily get dinged or bent. It came with all the necessary screws and rubber bumpers to secure it properly to my solid brick house. The mailbox comes fully assembled which I liked. My cousin installed it and said it was "very easy" to install. It took him less than 15 minutes to secure it to the bricks. The size is also adequate which I appreciate. I travel from time to time, so it is nice not to place a temporary hold on my mail and run to the post office upon my return. The mailbox holds a lot of mail -- all different sizes (from magazines to 8x11 size envelopes). The mailbox came with a minor paint issue, but I fixed it myself, so it wasn't a big deal. The color is dark charcoal gray, but it looks almost black (although it is not). The paint finish is NOT matte. The paint is very shiny and when the sun hits the mailbox -- it really looks shiny. The top lid doesn't "go down" or close automatically unless it is pushed down by the mailman (or me). I spoke to my mailman and requested he CLOSE the lid after placing mail through slot. Otherwise, rain or snow can seep into the opening at the top. I like the security of a lock and key for my mailbox. I don't have to worry about theft. Also, the slot is a nice size horizontally. The width is good. A hand does NOT fit in the slot. Finally, the clear plastic view window below the silver lock is in a very bad location/spot. The mail drops to the very bottom. Mail cannot be viewed from the top of the view window. The view window should be reconfigured since having it at the very top is useless and ineffective. I recommend the mailbox for the above reasons. My 4-star rating is based on the following reasons: (1) had to fix paint issue on mailbox (2) the top lid does not automatically close/drop down and stays in the up position and (3) the clear plastic view window is useless.

I needed a locking box for outside my office where people could drop things that would be secure. This installed easily to the wall, it's large enough for full-size sheets of paper or mail and I love the cover on the top. The lock works very well. Would recommend.

Thought this would be the perfect solution until it rained and my mail got wet. There is rubberizing near the hinges which l suspect is to stop water leaking from the hinges but it seems to flow over this rubber. I have replaced it with the same but with a higher profile hoping that this might work.Very disappointing as initially l thought it was ideal and it was not inexpensive!

Mailbox arrived without instructions to set combination lock - had to scour the internet for instructions. Firstly, it is impossible to slide the lever from A to B to set the lock combination. That was frustrating, but not as frustrating as realizing that it doesn't matter BECAUSE THE LOCK OPENS/CLOSES REGARDLESS OF THE COMBINATION. What a waste of money!
