My family has 4 of these now at 4 different properties and they work great. It was important to us to have a single app to rule them all (LOTR reference:) .Installation was easy and straightforward for physical as well as programming. After 6 months, there has been no issues with battery like and expect to replace at least once a year but I suppose that would depend on how often the lock is used. The fingerprint ability is awesome and simply “just worksâ€It was nice while out of town and having friends check on the house to be able to check the door lock and remotely lock if our helpers forgot.I highly recommend and maybe the price is just right. You get a good product when you pay more?Cheers

Love!! One thing I never wanna do again is stand at the door shuffling in my bag for keys in the dark. This lock is perfect and I love how quick the finger print feature works to lock and unlock. It was also important to me to find one with a physical key as well in case of a dead battery. I’ve only had this for a few weeks now, so I can’t speak on battery life, but so far I am loving the convenience, the clean look, and the functionality of this lock.

Impressed that it works under Midwestern freezing weather - that cleared my biggest concern as you don't find reviews or specs easily to confirm. It is easy to install on any standard door, has worked well for over a month of non-stop freezing and below temperatures. The only thing I wish it had is the ability to type randomized sequence with the pin. I have it installed in a dark area, so walking towards the pin pad you can't see any of the keys or fingerprint sensor. Hitting any key lights up the keys on the pad. But it is easy to press any wrong key on first try.Otherwise, it works fast and reliably.Have not tested the Bluetooth or remote control functionality.

The convenience of opening the door or locking it with a fingerprint or code or app is terrific. In our first month with it, it works really, really well. It's expensive. But we're super happy with it.

On the one hand, this is probably a five star lock. On the other hand, the documentation (which seems so complete) is not so complete, and the instructions not so right, such that there was extreme frustration during the installation of this device. For most aspects, the instructions were okay (measure this, cut that, blah blah). However, when the app was trying to communicate with the lock - it kept telling me that there was a problem and it couldn't communicate. And yet it was obviously communicating - it just kept telling me that it failed to do so. But then things would work. After it said that they hadn't worked. So frustrating. It told me the firmware wouldn't update. But did it update? I have no idea. It told my wife that her account failed to register. But it did register. It now takes her passcode, but it doesn't take my passcode (it never did take my passcode. Is that because it's the same pin that I used for the security code? Who knows, it never said one way or the other). Just everything about that was so frustrating. After an hour of swearing at it, however, the lock now works just fine with Alexa, the app, and our fingerprints (and her code). I think it's a great lock. Maybe it's just the software that's awful? Hard to say. I should mention that I've set up about five wifi/electronic locks in my time, so it's not like I'm conceptually slow on how these things should work. And like I say, it seems to work now - and I'm pretty confident that it will keep working. It was just miserable to get to this point. Do I recommend this lock? I recommend owning and using this lock, but I don't recommend setting this lock up. If you can do the former without doing the latter, then it should be a great experience for you.

This is a great product and does exactly what we wanted it to do. We can easily lock and unlock the door with a code or a fingerprint, but what we especially like is the ability to lock and unlock it remotely using the Yale app which we have linked to our Amazon Alexa account.

I’m not the handiest person and my door is old (old building, I rent) but the instructions were super clear and easy to follow. Install was easy and the lock works great. Auto lock / unlock is awesome
