It is quiet, easy to use, and compact. Works well with most yarns. (We have used cotton, chenelle, acrylic, and scrubby yarns). Good price. The draw back is, it is only good for small skeins, less than 200 yards.

I use this product to wind my yarn which is what it's meant for. It secures onto a counter very easily. It was very easy to assemble as well. It's very light. But sturdy for it's size. It winds medium weight yarn the best but can wind thicker yarn if you go slow. Despite being so light it works very well.

Good yarn spinner for the price! It has screws you can tighten if it gets loose which helps over time ensuring good yarn cakes! Very easy to set up, easy to use, sometimes the yarn slips if you are going to fast but no big deal. It say in the directions to not go larger than the base but honestly you can go bigger. It is also very quiet which is a plus.

This is OK for the price. I mean it’s nothing crazy. It does the job quality wise is eh but you know you get what you pay for it works. It makes decent cakes and I’m not complaining and neither is my bank.

I crochet a lot of things. Anything from sweaters, to blankets, to hats. I have a lot of leftover yarn that I can use for scrap projects. This works great! In less than five minutes I had a whole cake done. Super quick and worth the money. Super easy to use.

This works so well and the cakes look fancy. Love it so much and my wrists and hands don't hurt from rolling by hand. Soooo easy to use. Would buy again.

I would have loved to give this yarn ball winder 5 stars, it falls short of my expectation. The instructions are not very clear to understand. I had to watch a person's YouTube video to figure it out. It's made of cheap material and I can't help but wonder how long it will be before it breaks. After I had to keep unwinding and restarting, I finally got the hang of it and my yarn cakes turned out great. My advice is to pull your yarn from the center because if you loosen the slack while winding, you will kick yourself. It's hard to get it back going.

It worked as I expected. The last one I bought was too complicated to use. This one is simple and works great.
