Twice now, I have had dishwasher problems that caused water damage in my kitchen. (Thanks, Kitchenaid - NOT!) Water issues are so costly and inconvenient and often you don't realize damage is occurring until it is too late. If these devices work as they should, I will receive and audible alarm plus a notification on my phone, so that I can stop water intrusion and clean up before damage occurs. I have placed an alarm under my dishwasher, in my corner cabinet by the hoses and under my kitchen sink. I had a little trouble with the initial configuration (probably on my end) but their tech support was amazing! Best technical support ever. I did not feel rushed and Mike stuck with it until everything was finished and tested. They worked perfectly and I have more peace of mind. Whatever you pay for these will be well worth it - an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. I wish I'd have done this after my KitchenAid dishwasher failed me the first time! Then a new one failed in a different way. Hopefully there will not be a next time, but if there is, I am ready!

Heater blew it's pressure valve and flooded the basement bedroom. If I had these then would have saved a lot! We'll be ready next time.Arrived the next morning, we were still drying out.Easy set up. They announce with the location you set in the app. Easy to add to Alexa, but I have not figured out to use there yet. They have a drip warning on top and a flood warning on the bottom, as well as a temperature warning. Best is they are waterproof, so they'll survive if under water. I got the silent sensors, as I want to have the announcement from the hub (and see in the app and have Alexa announce). The announcement can be set to repeat.I have been testing for over week now, with no false alarms and the warnings are quick (one drop and it goes off).

I love the fact that it beeped when water was detected in my basement and that I got a text message. I have had 3 flooding events in my basement and I needed a solution to prevent another one. This system is doing the job and I have recommended it to many of my friends.

Added a few of these around the house after different leaks. Dishwasher, clothes washer, fridge, kids toilets, HVACs, etc. Range works great except for one in a metal leak pan for HVAC in the attic. I think the metal pan is deflecting the signal too much from time to time. Once every few weeks it looses signal and I can go up and hit the button or last time I let it be and it came back on its own in a day or two.App uses IFTT to make alarms. Its very simple programing but I can see someone who is new to it cursing a little. In its base form, once you add the device (super simple, scan QR code on phone) it will generate a notification on phone when it goes off. More advanced, like speaker going off, requires IFTT. Not hard, but if you don't program it may take some time to figure out.I've already had it go off once (outside testing). Kids got ice from freezer, dropped ice and left it.. Alarm went off as it melted. Then it just became a conversation with the kid drinking ice water..I bought the regular hub and speaker hub. It was actually cheaper going this route vs buying extra sensors. Do it, it will save you larger bills fixing floors and ceilings from water repair/stains.

I read the instructions and watched a few videos, but I still had to call their support to get it to work correctly. The tech was great. I needed this in my basement and my bedroom is on the second floor. if the sensor goes off, I might not hear it if I am sleeping. the tech showed me how to turn the hub into the alarm. Which is great because I put the hub in my bedroom. It’s so loud it will wake the dead. I also love that if I am not at home, I will get an alert on my cell phone and iPad. Now I can rush home and fix the issue before my basement is flooded. I actually sleep better now when it rains.

Sensor integration instructions leave a little information out on how to send notification to phone. Nicely designed and built product.

We bought this kit as an add on to the YoLink plus bulldog water shut off system. We hope it stands the test of time. We have twice purchased the expensive Moen Flow which both failed within two years and now has some terrible reviews. This system stands out in many ways. It simply bolts over our already long lasting ball valve with manual arm shutoff. The YoLink controller and their very sensitive and responsive water sensors provide immediate shutoff response. The system is also superior because it does not rely on internet or power to function. The LoRa technology is new to us and is impressive. The YoLink app is a nice compliment giving text alerts and can also turn off the water if needed.

For years I have had leaks from washing machines, water heaters, water filters, water softeners, pipes, faucets and toilets. I installed a water alarm with many sensors years ago, so the leaks I have had were caught before major damage. I have always worried about those that occur when no one is home, so I finally bit the bullet and bought a Yolink system on Prime Day. Had to install a separate ball valve after my ancient main gate valve, which was difficult because of restricted space Used a compression fitting valve on my 3/4" main line. Setting up the EVO valve operator and controller with a speakerhub and 3 water alarm 4s was the easy part. Programming the app to turn off the valve on an alarm was not intuitive. Yolink responded quickly to my email inquiry, giving me step by step instructions to create a "scene" using the Smart button to activate the valve and speakerhub. Thanks for great customer service, Yolink, which is usually hard to come by since covid. I connected my multiple basement sensors to one alarm module, by soldering the two leads from the sensor string to the terminals on module top (through a toggle switch). The other two alarms I used in bathrooms, which worked out great (set them on a paper towel pad to minimize water amount needed to cause alarm). So nowI have l local alarm, a hub alarm and a push cell alarm if a leak occurs. Worth the couple hundred bucks, for sure!
