We bought this for our basement. We have fish tank motors downstairs and with all the rain our basement kept getting flooded. This water leak detector lets us know if any water went in the closest. So far it has done a great job of alerting us if any water leaks. Super easy to install and connect. Outstanding performance so far.

This unit is a lifesaver. Works as it should. The only thing better if it was electric with a battery back up but besides that, great product!

Easy setup and installation. Tested the functionality and hope it never needs to be used but it should stop the water line in the event of a mechanical coffee maker malfunction :)

I was once filling up my water bottle and got distracted for 5 minutes or so. Came back to water all over my countertops and kitchen floor. Thanks to this device, I won’t have to worry about that happening again.

A quick look inside shows the switched part of the pipe to have a diameter of about 1/8th inch.In area terms, that is significantly less (by an inverse multiple) than the smallest pipe this would be used with. It looks to be less than 1/10 of the area of the supplied quick fit connectors.

I bought this to replace the automated shut off valve I had. It was the same model so there was no question to if it would work with my system. Straight up plug and play. If you can screw a hose to a spicket and plug in a tv to an outlet you can install this.
