Had to get this cuz my fat ass cat decided to sit on the lid of the snake cage. It did fit but, I dunno maybe cuz it's kinda wobbly it was tight and we really had to struggle to get it under the back lip. It wouldn't catch for some reason just a narrow gap. Onyx kept tryna get out. So check extra that it's closed cuz he got out on Thanksgiving and we had company! Lucky we found him few days later. Once they can get a head thru they can force it open, but sealed tight they can't get out.

Like many other reviews mine arrived damaged is a massively oversized box and no padding or protection of any kind for loosely thrown in a box. For as over priced as this is it should be properly packaged and arrive in brand new condition. Construction and overall quality of the product was great fits ever so slightly loose but overall would have been great if the screen wasnt ripped. Massive waste of time waiting for another to ship from china when all they have to do is properly package and inspect the products before shipping.

The mesh screen was not out in properly leaving a gap. The lid fits as needed and we are getting our snake in a couple days so we have no time for a return. I will use some duck tape to cover gap.Update: the company had amazing customer service. They sent me a new lid right away. The new lid came in perfectly. Thanks again!

This is a great lid and love the fact it lock right into the cage, but rather perturbed with the pricing. Comparing to standard metal mesh lids, this is twice + the money, but guess if you want a complete set, get this. They really should look at pricing as that's my only complaint! Rest is good quality as it fits perfectly!

Came quickly, fit perfectly, and honestly worth the price considering you can't find these things ANYWHERE else... Haven't had it long, and, honestly Haven't put a reptile in the tank we bought it for just yet, but it seems super study, strong, and well made. We had gotten the tank used, and the original lid was busted up and the screen was torn pretty bad, so we knew we had to replace it before putting a new pet in there. We're thinking it should hold up well after we add the lights on top, as it seems very well made with a sturdy metal screen! :)
