I needed a low level heat bulb for my crested geckos. Even though it says spot light, it works well spreading the heat and the frosted glass makes it safer.

Something has happened to reduce the quality of all Nano bulbs. These basking bulbs don't last two weeks. The red bulbs blow up. So now I have to buy a new fixture now so I can buy a different kind of bulb. I won't make that mistake again. Very disappointed!!!!!

These bulbs don't last long at all, I bought a 2-pk and one of the bulbs burned out immediately as I was turning it on. Thank goodness it didn't explode like some people reported. The other one lasted about 6 months so the one bulb costed me double the price. Like others, I paid a lot of money for the nano domes so I could use them on the inside since my BTS doesn't climb things. Some day when I am tired of wasting money I will do something different for the basking area. I do use the heat emitters for the most part for heat and they have never given me a problem, but I do like some light besides my UV lamp over the basking area.
