I recently purchased this for my chameleon enclosure. I use it for enclosure lighting and water supply timer. The instructions were very easy to translate for initial setup. Everything works at scheduled times as advertised.

This is an amazingly helpful product. It helps organize all my equipment, it grounds all of the electrical currents and, of course, it has a timer. I have this set up for a painted turtle and a leopard gecko. The painted turtle has a UVB light and a basking light that need to be on for 12 hours a day. The turtle also has a water heater and water filtration unit that need to be on 24/7. The gecko has an under terrarium heating pad and a black light for heat that need to be on 24/7.I set this up between my aquarium and terrarium. In the timed outlets, I placed the lamp with the UVB light bulb and the lamp with the basking light bulb. I turned the light switches for both of these lamps to the on position. In the regular outlets, I placed the water heater, water filter, heat pad and black light. Make sure all of these are turned on as well if they have an individual power button. Next, I set the timer on the power strip. The timer has all the hours of the day; the white numbers are AM and the black ones are PM. I set mine so that all the tabs from 9am to 9pm were in the down position and the rest of the tabs were in the up position. In addition to setting the tabs, the dial must also be turned to set the current time. After all this was completed, I flipped the power switch on the controller to the on position. Voila.The four items I need to be on 24/7 stay on all day and night. The two items I need on 12 hours a day turn on and off at the correct times they are set for. I could not be happier. (1) I don't have to worry about forgetting to turn the turtle lamps on and off. (2) I don't have to worry that a power failure or power surge will send an electric current to my underwater heater and kill my turtle. (3) All of my electrical devices are now in one easy place and can be shut off and on with one flip of a switch. I also used my label maker to make tags for all the plugs so that I know which cord is which. I feel like this is the perfect setup for me and I can see it working very well for others too.

Great timer & Great price. Best price around. I have bought 2 & really like them. I wish you could set multiple timers but it's still great. I use it for my bearded dragons lights.

This only worked for a little over 3 months. At first I noticed that everytime it was bumped while sweeping, that it would stop working. I would reset the switches and get it to work again for a few days. Then it stopped working completely. It was set up beneath one of my glass tanks and was never stepped on or dropped. Even the timer does not advance consistently. I would never buy this particular model again. I have multiple other timer controllers and have only had problems with one other timer made by Century but most of them work well. For $24.89 this product should at least work OK for 1-2 years but that was not the case. Bad design apparently.ZooMed has offered to replace this timer controller. They were very pleasant about it.

Super easy to set up, though the timing will never be perfect for whatever you set it to. Still good for an approximate time.Unfortunately, after a little under a month of use, it has suddenly developed a buzzing/grinding sound when powered on. It only has three items plugged into it (two 9-watt LEDs on the timer side and one 25w ceramic heat emitter on the untimed side-- way below the 1000 watt rating in the manual). Unplugging any or all of these doesn't affect the sound, which seems to be coming from below the timer system.

Excellent, came in condition close to perfect, a few prongs were off but were put in place when firmly pressed power prongs into it. Reliable thus far!

I've had this for a few months now, and I have had maybe one or two problems. Sometimes I notice one of the lights isn't on (I have about 4 running on it) and have to push the plug in deeper even though it looks completely in, but this has only been once or twice. Overall, I know there is much cheaper options for just basic timers, not reptile specific, but I love this one. Has been life changing for my beardie and I. I don't feel guilty if I sleep in, or if I stay up later than normal because her lights go on and off on their own and ultimately provide a schedule. Also like how easy it is to change timer, say she just got out of a bath and needs to bask a little longer than normal. Overall, would recommend.
