This is a great little bag that is likely "water resistant", but I've had mine under a cover, but in the damp rainy northwest and the pellets are still dry and light normally. It's not a rigid bag, can't be used as a seat, but it beats the heck out of a plastic bag to haul pellets to the bbq or smoker, (or pizza oven in my case). The handles make it easy to move around, it sits flat on the deck or table, and the wide opening makes it easy to scoop pellets. If you're looking for something you can leave out in the direct rain and weather, you might want something with a better seal, but for the price, this mostly waterproof bag has been working great for the last couple of months.

First off, let me say I like this wood pellet bag... but I don't love it. It's certainly a better storage solution, and especially a better transport method compared to keeping the pellets in their original plastic bag. Having handles on a heavy bag makes a huge difference when carting it around camp or the back yard.My main issue with this bag design is the lack of waterproofness, despite the "weatherproof" claims in the description. I'm sure it's water resistant, but there's no way it's waterproof, or weatherproof. The zipper alone kind of kills the whole weatherproof concept.Although it could probably stand a few improvements, for the price I think this is a very reasonable storage and transport solution. I'll be using it to transport pellets to various campsites in Colorado and I love the idea of not carrying the original bags. I have horrible thoughts about the original bag tearing and wood pellets going everywhere... but now I don't have to worry about that scenario. The bag kind of reminds me of an inexpensive, soft-sided cooler, which I imagine it would also work in that capacity as well. I put 20 pounds of pellets in the bag and that filled it about half way, so I assume it would hold 40 pounds, but that's going to get kind of heavy but doable. Carrying around 20 pounds with the handle isn't bad at all and the bag doesn't seem to be straining.

This storage bag is great for pellet storage. I would say it’s large enough to probably fit up to 30 lbs of pellets. It might be able to hold 40 lbs, but this might be heavy enough to strain the carrying handles. This bag works as intended and keeps pellets contained and dry. One time I had noticed the bottom of the bag got a little wet. I checked… the pellets were not damp at all and the material dried quickly. I think it would be helpful if there was a pocket or someway to indicate which kind of pellets are inside. I just have to remember it or put something inside the bag with the name of the pellets.

This pellet storage bag works as expected and is waterproof. The quality is good, and I have no issues leaving it outside. I use it to store charcoal, and it keeps them dry and ready to use. A reliable choice for outdoor storage.

This bag claims to be waterproof, but it isn't. We were skeptical when it arrived as the zipper is not enclosed. Consequently, it leaks through the zipper. Otherwise, the bag is nice but we really needed it to be waterproof.

Pros:- Perfect size for grilling pellets (smaller than bags of heating pellets).- Insulated fabric provides resistance to the elements; but not waterproof or moisture proof.- Handles have a cover to make it easier/possible to carry when full.- Textile surface and insulated interior appears to be of good quality.- There's actually one picture that is totally accurate; the one where the dimensions are shown and nothing else is in the picture.Cons:- It is NOT the following things: ...AIRTIGHT DESIGN (nope)…DURABLE GALVANIZED STEEL BODY (it's soft sided)…SECURE MAGNETIC LID (it's a zipper)… none of those things are part of this product.- Would have been nice for them to include a pre-cut label. At $17 (at the time of this review) this is actually a decent value. It would have been a 5 star product if the description matched. Shipping was super fast.
