Your cart is empty.The ZWO ASI174MM-Mini is a compact monochrome astronomy camera intended for autoguiding during long exposure astrophotography or for planetary imaging. The camera incorporates a 11.3mm x 7.1mm sensor with 1936x1216 resolution. The ASI174 Mini has a larger sensor than the ASI290MM-Mini so it can detect more potential guide stars in a larger field of view. This makes it ideal for use with an off-axis guider when imaging with longer focal length telescopes. The camera also works well as a planetary imager. The ASI174MM-Mini weighs just 4.9oz, and the main body of the camera slips into a 1.25” focuser. The camera uses a small Type C USB2.0 interface, the same type of connector used by many cell phones, and its ST4 port enables direct connection to the autoguiding port on your telescope mount. All software and drivers for this camera are available from the manufacturer’s website.

This brand never disappoints. I decided to upgrade my optics train along with a new telescope I recently purchased. I've also purchased a ZWO ASI294MC Pro along with this 174mm - mini.Purchasing this brand is my go-to no-brainer when it comes to cameras for astronomy viewing as guide cameras or astrophotography.

Use this on an OAG with reducer for my 8inch. Never really have a problem finding a guide star.

Wasn’t having luck guiding with the 120mini, bought this and all my problems went away. Definitely worth the money.
