I bought this 2 pack of 1/2" auger bits due to so many reviews on all of these type bits being "iffy" on whether they will work at all. A lot of reviews claim that they came bent or broken, and many more claim that they wouldn't drill through butter! But let me tell you, these worked exactly as expected! Both were intact and in good shape, and the first one that I used had no problem boring through double landscape timbers. Had to drill 12 holes and it had absolutely no issues! I will assume that the second bit will be the same, I just haven't needed to try it yet.Now, will these hold up over the long haul? They might, but probably not. After all, they only cost $10 for the pair. I bought them as cheaply as possible for an immediate need and they did their job!

These drilled right through five 6" x 6" cedar deck posts with no issue!

Needed a "one time use" drill to poke some 1" holes in a recently cut pine stump. Just picked this up based on price and it worked really well AND was still pretty sharp after drilling 13 holes. I cleaned it up, oiled it and put it away for use another day.

Do not waist your money on these drill bits. The drill bit snapped in half the first time I used it in soft wood. Additionally, it drifts when drilling and doesnt straight.

I bought this to drill holes to put shepherd's hooks in soil that's never been worked. Worked very well.

I ordered the 3/8" x 8" size. The size I received was a 10mm x 200mm, which is slightly fatter and slightly shorter than 3/8" x 8".It will still be OK for what I'm using it for, but gotta ding the listing for not actually selling the size they say they are.

Do not buy. Neither of the bits would drill a hole. I have never used a drill bit so dull in my life

Ensambla bien en la entrada del taladro por su forma exagonal y evita que se afloje rápidamente a diferencia de las brocas redondas y el largo también lo considero bastante útil a mi nesesidad
