Product was well made and all cutting flutes were sharp and hard. I used it to chase the threads on an early 1930's Japanese military rifle receiver which was being rebarreled and it did the job quite well. This rifle had an actual thread of 1.025" x 14 and by using a wood dowel rod as an adjusting wedge it allowed the 1"x14 tap to do its job in a controlled manner.

Surprisingly it's of very good quality and was able to quickly and easily tap the end of a tie rod.

I bought this to use until my better replacement came in, and it does a great job. Can't speak to the longevity of it, but its sharp, and does great

I bought this for my machine shop. Quality was very good and cuts good clean threads. Very nice tap!!
