It sucks in a good way! It will empty a hot tub in 15 minutes. My only complaint…why couldn’t they just design it to fit onto a standard water hose? I have no idea what all of the fittings are supposed to attach to, but it’s not a water hose and nothing I could find at Home Depot. I did end up finding a plumbing product that I made work. Can’t tell you what it is, but look in the hosing/plumbin area. It looks like a big roll of blue duck tape, but it’s actually a plastic tube. I fit that around the exit port and locked it on with a hose clamp.

Installed in a basement sump hole and have a 50 foot hose running to a septic drain. Operation looks very simple with a floating sensor that turns on the pump if water rises within the sump hole. Appears to be well made for heavy duty use.

I recently purchased the 1/3 HP 1850 GPH Submersible Sump Pump for a variety of tasks around my home, and it has exceeded my expectations in almost every aspect. Here’s what I found:Performance & EfficiencyThis sump pump is a workhorse. With a 1/3 HP motor and a capacity of 1850 GPH (gallons per hour), it quickly and efficiently pumps out water from areas like my basement and pool. I’ve used it to remove both clean and slightly dirty water, and it handles both with ease, leaving the area almost completely dry.VersatilityOne of the best features of this pump is its versatility. I’ve used it in my basement to prevent flooding, in my pool to help with water changes, and even in my garden for irrigation purposes. It’s also suitable for ponds and aquariums, making it an all-around useful tool for homeowners. The compact design makes it easy to move and use in different locations.Ease of Installation & UseSetting up the pump was straightforward. The instructions were clear, and it didn’t take long to get it running. The pump is submersible, which means you can place it directly into the water without any concerns. It also features a float switch that automatically turns the pump on and off based on the water level, which is a very convenient feature.Build QualityThe pump feels sturdy and well-made. The materials used seem durable, and it has been running smoothly without any issues. The only minor downside is that it can be a bit noisy, but this is to be expected with most submersible pumps.Value for MoneyFor the price, this sump pump offers excellent value. It’s powerful, versatile, and reliable, making it a great investment for anyone needing a dependable water removal solution.Final ThoughtsOverall, the 1/3 HP 1850 GPH Submersible Sump Pump is an excellent choice for a variety of applications around the home. Whether you need to manage water in your basement, pool, garden, or pond, this pump is up to the task. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a versatile and efficient water pump.

We tried several sump pumps before this one and all of them were not reliable. I don't have to worry whether this one will turn on and off. It does what it is supposed to do.

3 of 4 pumps failed after 1 month. I'm waiting for the 4th to fail. Don't buy this product if you need to run them for any reasonable amount of time. Would give zero stars if possible.

We used a sub pump for our kid's water slide. It needed a hose nozzle and a tube to work but it saves us some water to do this and I'm here for it. Kid's played all day and the water gets turned on when we need it but the pump helps us use the water already in the slide.
