Product showed up damaged right before the Christmas holiday cooking. Post one use the handle broke, and apparent rus on all missing enamle locaions. For the price you have to pay for this item it is onlly as good a a 4 dollar once used tin foil pan and not much sturdier than that menioning it now is missing a handle.Highly not recommended for purchase.

the first item that i received for review had quite a few paint chips. i returned it and got a replacement which just arrived yesterday. unfortunately, despite the seller's responsiveness, the problems remain in the new unit. there are paint chips (isn't this supposed to be a porcelain coating?) from the abrasion of the roasting pan parts on each other as experienced during transportation from the manufacturer to the recipient of the item. photos are attached for your perusal. while this would theoretically be cosmetic, it doesn't speak well of the integrity of the finish, or whether as the seller claims, this is actually a porcelain coating -- which should be harder and not so easy to chafe off. this feels like a cheaper finish -- perhaps a very thin Teflon coating, or even cheaper -- hopefully food-safe paint? the pans and rack are not heavy duty and the paint job may survive a trip through the dishwasher, or it may not. i'd guess that hand washing would be better to be safe. 3 stars because this will likely hold a turkey, but whether it did the job better than a disposable aluminum pain is very questionable, especially given the value given after buying an item that should be reusable and should stand the test of time.

Great for your big birds just make sure you've got the oven space to get the job done.I knew I needed this baby before Thanksgiving rolled around to serve as the perfect cooking platter for my Turkey. 21 inches and 25 pound capacity means you're going to be working with some very challenging dimensions. Roaster is very sturdy and well built. Handles high heat without any warping of the metal or discoloration of the pan. Remains mostly non-stick and is easy to clean by hand with just mild soap, water, and sponge. I do wish the handles had a little more room to them so you don't have to struggle to get a grip. The thing to keep in mind is that when you've got oven mitts on the space becomes much smaller and this was the one area I found myself struggling with. Outside of that I'm grateful that I wasn't one of the ones who had chipped paint but I could see how that could be a big problem with it.As long as its not flawed its a good thing to have.

Make sure you have a stove that fits the roasting pan, does cook food evenly and the rack helps cooks the bottom without making soggy. Bought a small granite roasting pan which cost just a few dollars less, so this is worth the price.

I haven't roasted in this yet- it will be making it's debut for the Christmas turkey. It feels solid and is a good size for an average turkey or a roast. I like the grate and that it can also be removed and cleaned easily. I also prefer the rectangular shape vs the pans that are more oval because you will be able to fit other dishes in the oven along with it a little easier, like if you are throwing in a casserole, too.
