I have a flock of 25 laying hens and having to fill two 3 gallon buckets of water daily was getting tiring especially when the girls would sit on top and poop all through it!I purchased these cups and had a few buckets from Lowes with lids on hand that we used.The kit is complete and very easy to install the cups.The cups work awesome! There easy to keep clean and now I only have to fill their water 3 times a week instead of daily.

The feeder tubes are standard and work for most chickens. They will not work for roosters with large combs or wattles. I generally need to use 3" PVC elbows for large headed Roosters.The waterers are not a good design. They are two pieces (the piece you screw in and the cup you friction fit into the other piece.) This allows the water cup to swivel and can be great if you need a cup that is closer to the waterer. The issue is that lazy chickens can rest on the cup while drinking and separate the two pieces. This causes all of the water to drain out of the waterer. This is a mess at best and a death sentence if it is hot and there is no other water source.Another issue is that flighty birds or ones being chased can step on the cups and separate them with the same results as above.I've had the most issues with birds used for meat since they don't like to stand up much and put a lot of weight on the cups. Ducks are another issue since they can get aggressive with the cups and pull them apart.I have other cups are are one piece and the only issue I have had with them is old age and the plastic failing.I just can not trust these cups without constant monitoring, adjusting, and fixing.

We had a cup on our water feeder break. Husband tried a cup from your company, it wouldn't stop dripping, tried a second cup, with all the gaskets & appropriate pieces. Second cup overflowed & continued to empty bucket. We are greatly disappointed in this product & unsure what to purchase to use as backup cups for our 5gallon water feeder.

8 chicks, used Tupperware, drilled a hole for both food and water and now the chicks have spill proof source of water and food!!
