Worked great breaking up tiles and a concrete sub-floor in a kitchen. Worth the money.

This was a great set of chisels.didnt realize it came in a little carry bag, so that was a nice surprise. Its nothing fancy, but keeps them secured together and easier to carry around.

I live in NH aka…The Granite State. Most landscaping projects will involve some type of rock breaking or moving. I have a project I’m starting this spring. I have a pile of rocks for a project that will need some attention. I am hoping this chisel will be strong enough to split the smaller ones. I also have interlocking wall pavers that will need to be split to create the end of the wall and a 90 degree corner. We’ve had a few mild days, so I uncovered the blocks, scored, and split a dozen of them. The chisel worked well. The capping stones I will use a masonry saw on. That kicks up way too much dust, so I prefer the chisel and scoring for the blocks. The biggest plus is the hand guard at the top of the chisel. I have some without the guard and one with the guard. Not that I am admitting that I need it on a regular basis, but it is a great feature. It is a pretty hard rubber. It seems like it could handle multiple hits. The metal is heavy, and it did a good job on the blocks. The blocks I used were not dense. But they were denser than a cinder block. I am pleased with the job it did. The price point was reasonable. If the chisel lasts for the rest of the project, I will be very happy. I can always sharpen it and keep using it. After this project this is not going to be a very often used tool. I will have it when the need arises.I recommend this product.

My sidewalks had developed some cracks from years of weather abuse. I bought this chisel to clean out the cracks for repair. This chisel is very heavy and it does it's job beautifully. The hand protection is great and definitely needed with a tool like this. I was able to clean up the cracks and then pour a concrete repair mix and now it looks so nice. I haven't used this for any other project, but I could see many uses for it in the future. This chisel is a real bargain, very comfortable to use and does it's job. Definitely recommend.

I like everything about this 12" long heavy duty chisel. The bright yellow color helps you locate this tool - especially if you forget where you placed it, solid heavy metal construction, amazing feeling handle with strike protection and 1" wide/sharp edge.Although this chisel is solidly constructed it is not too heavy that makes it difficult to control or hold into place. You'll get a secure feeling about not injuring your hand while holding/striking the chisel with your hammer as the round protection shield provides plenty of area to keep the hammer from hitting your hand in case of a mishit.I tried chiseling several different concrete areas that required 1) some finesse due to the small area I was chiseling to remove 2) large area of concrete to break up - Both small and large demands on this chisel were easily managed. Definitely one of my new favorite tools.Overall, a great chisel with solid construction, built in safety cover, can be used for large and small jobs and sold at a very fair price - definitely in the buy column.
