I am always building stuff and I had a project in mind of building a fountain and I came cross this item and order it came next day and install and it works great made of plastic tho felt a lil flimsy but works good also adjustable which is awesome

I used this in a water cistern tank to prevent overflow. It was installed august of 2020, and I haven't touched it since. It is now April 2023, and It's been working fine since day 1, not a single issue. It is a part of my water system that feeds the house, so it gets use daily, every couple of hours during the day the cistern tank is drained a little and the float is activated. Very happy with this product. Im ordering 2 more right now, 1 for back up, and 1 for another project in the garden. :)

Just by tying the nut you can easily break the threads, also the ball size is way to small to shut off the water unless you pushed up the ball with your hands the valve will shut the water off. I do not buy it again

Very useful for my rain barrels. When it's not raining and the rain barrels get low on water this float triggers domestic water supply to keep them from going completely empty.

This is a quality float valve. But the GPM flow is far below what you see in the product description. Yes, it has a 3/4" input. But water flows through a 1/8" (approximate) hole. Great for topping off a reservoir but not for filling it. GPM probably 0.5 GPM at 60 psi. I returned the product due to flow, not quality.
