I recently got this anemometer and it seems to be working ok. I stuck it in front of a fan and it measured the wind speed accurately it seemed. It can measure in MPH, knots, kilometers, and more. It also tells you the wind temperature. It will auto hold the maximum wind gusts and also give you averages. It has a backlight for low light areas or night. It takes two AAA batteries and comes with two to get you started. It even comes with a small screwdriver to remove the battery door. Also comes with a little carrying soft case to keep it in. The only problem I found was the compass mounted to the top. Mine is showing a good 180 degrees off. As far as the readings being correct, the temperature looks spot on and the wind speed seems to be right too. So far it is doing everything it should other than the compass.

Got this through work. Seems to work fine, but need to be able to extend the time before it powers down. I need to get max wind speed over an hour time frame. It's more durable metal screw socket for attachment to tripod than my prior Anenometer.

It was a great little wind meter, until rotation stopped. I am 4 months out of warranty/support options.Not recommended.

I wasn't sure about a hand held anemometer with cups. But took it out on the sailboat and it works well. It seems to be accurate. I like that I can just hold it up anywhere. It doesn't have to face into the wind. I like this one is especially because of the backlight. Others I looked at don't have that feature. This one also has a carrying pouch. 5 stars for now. I'll see how it stands up long-term.

Die Software läuft weder unter Windows XP noch unter Windows 8,1. Am Anfang lief das Programm unter Win 8,1 (stotternd). Nach einem Systemreboot konnte ich ,selbst nach mehreren Installationsversuchen das Gerät nicht mehr zur Kommunikation mit dem Programm bewegen. Der Comm-port, der am Anfang funktionierte wurde nicht mehr angezeigt.Die Webadresse auf der CD, die zum Software-Download führen sollte, führte mich auf eine Seite mit Chinesischen Schriftzeichen.Fazit: Das Gerät ist gut, die Software Schrott.

Je voulais mesurer la vitesse du vent qui frappe en plein fouet ma maison surtout quand il y a des tempêtes.Je l'ai reçu en temps utile puisqu'il y a eu plusieurs tempêtes ces derniers jours.Mais je n'ai rien pu mesurer, parce que l'appareil ne voulais pas fonctionner. Je viens de trouver la raison : La pile fournie avec l'appareil était vide d'énergie. J'ai remplacé la pile et l'appareil fonctionne maintenant, mais il n'y a plus de tempête pour mesurer sa vitesse!

confrontato con un'altro ottimo prodotto tedesco che avevo già non faccio nomi, con poco vento non e preciso ma quando si prova con vento più forte circa 8 m/s in su e preciso qualità prezzo ottimo prodotto
