ESD Anti-Static Wrist Strap Components
Anti-static Wrist Strap:
- The anti-static bracelet uses a 1 megohm resistor and a wire to introduce static electricity into the earth through the anti-static grounding wire, and discharge the static electricity to the earth through the anti-static bracelet.
- The purpose is to avoid the impact of instantaneous high current on the component and avoid damage to the device.
Application:
- Product Line, CMOS Chip, Microprocessor, Semiconductor, Dish Drivers, LCD screen product, Circuit Product line, Precision Instrument,Optics Part and so on.
Please Note:
- For best results wear the anti-static for at least 15 minutes before beginning work on any sensitive equipment.
- Make sure that the inner stainless steel back is touching the bare skin on your arm.

Hubby and I are going to try earthing or grounding to alive inflamation. We tested with meter and both work great but we had to create a longer modified chord to reach the ground in the outlet. Great for the price! Happy with them!

Not sure that this is doing anything.I used anti-static mat and one of these, and CPU got fried regardless.

It's tight on my wrist, but I can wear it. I opened and checked the first two. They show 1.5 Mohm, which is fine.Maybe the elastic will loosen up over time.
