I got these for the 1†auger bit to drill holes in 2x4s to run wires while I’m rehabbing our shed. I’m not sure what the original builder used, but the holes were not even or smooth, so I needed to even those out and drill additional holes for the new runs of Romex to my new outlets. This bit is aggressive and removes material like a boss. I used my Hercules combo/hammer drill to ensure I had enough power to match this bit. It was a two-hands process for me because I’m not super strong and this could have easily gotten away from me.I didn’t experience any stalling or burning of the wood - it didn’t bog down but made quick work and a good pile of wood chips. The holes are even but not terribly smooth, but I wasn’t expecting them to be. I have metal sleeves for inside the holes and those fit perfectly in the holes made by this bit. Glad to have added this to my toolkit!

These drillbits are extremely well built. They cut through like butter and they don’t rip stuff up there for very compact places, I use them with a big Milwaukee angle drill to get into tight places under shelf to run cables up through cabinets. These things work better than I thought they were so well worth the money I would pay for these as good as they are.

I bought these drill bits to make holes in floor joists for running electrical Romex cable. I'm glad I did because they made short order of getting the job done.

I was having problems drilling at a certain angle! My son in law suggested these. He was right!! Perfect!

Used these for a couple months mainly on Saturday when I'm working on remodels. Half inch is already dull. Hard to sharpen and keep sharp. Thought they would last a little longer. I'm just drilling through wood. No nails or anything harder than wood.

i would given it 5, if the starter bit was a little sharper. but hey, splinters were a lot less. i used it on plywood.

Tiene un filo muy suave y con su roscado da una precisión mucho mayor a sacabocados convencionales, con su conexión de 1/4 es fácilmente inrwrcambiable
