I have a 2019 Avalon that only supports Carplay... and an Android phone. So far I basically just used bluetooth to connect to the car and did everything else on my phone screen (mounted slightly below the actual screen). I didn't like it, but I guess I like Apple even less. On family trips my wife just plugged in her iPhone and we used that.Enter this little device.I plugged it in, it kinda booted up, needed to restart once for some reason and then I got the device's OS first - nothing special, but has music and some video streaming that you can use if you connect it to some wireless access point. But to connect my Android phone via bluetooth took less than a minute, and it gives the full wireless Android Auto experience.It's not perfect (the device boots up after I start the car, so the connection isn't immediate), but it's fast enough to not bother me. And finally having my maps and everything else on the screen is absolutely worth the little wait.An absolute game-changer.I've used it the better part of a week now and I had one disconnect that quickly fixed itself. I hope that doesn't repeat... apart from that it's perfect, I even unpaired my phone from my car now because why would I ever want to connect to that again directly?

I worked fine… for about a day then began to overheat until it no longer worked. Inwill save for something a bit more durable

Set up was easy. Haven’t fully tested but appears to be a good buy. Installed in a 2025 Chevy Blazer.

It was pretty glitchy. Sometimes wouldn’t startup at all and I had to reset it. When it worked though it was fine.

Absolutely TERRIBLE... DO NOT BUY. I would say a solid 80% of the time the device will not connect to my phone. I can be driving for 10 to 15 minutes before the device even connects.
