Please NOTE
- Spot welding angle:
When you are spot welding, the spot welding angle is recommended to be tilted 30 plating, presenting a 60° angle to spot weld, this angle is better. You can also try other angles, suitable for your spot welding angle is the best.
- The location of the spot welder contact:
When you spot weld fit, both spot weld pens must contact the material at the same time, not one spot weld pen contacted, the other did not contact. To both pens are in contact, the spot welding current will be output, there will be a spot welding reaction.
- Spot weld material should be smooth:
When you spot weld the fit, pay attention to spot weld the material to be smooth, clean, spot weld the 18650 battery fit, must be laid flat on the battery, the battery and the material can't have a gap, if there is a little gap, use the spot weld pen to gently press the following, so that the battery and the material are in full contact.
Q: What should I do if the spot welding machine suddenly stops working?
A: During the spot welding process, if the spot welding machine suddenly does not work, please change the angle or use a gauze friction spot welding pen. It is necessary for both spot welding needles to come into contact with the material before spot welding.
Check whether the current spot welding mode is automatic or manual. Please refer to our instructions on how to use manual mode.
If the length of the spot welding pen varies, please send us a message immediately.
How to Use Manual Mode
The manual mode button of the spot welding machine is located on the side, which is the "ON/OFF Key"
First, press and hold the "ON/OFF Key" for 2 seconds,
Then press and hold the top "Gear Switching Key" for more than 2 seconds, and the indicator light will jump to Manual mode.
Next, press the top "Gear Switching Key" , material 0.1, and you can use the minimum gear to practice. Later, add gears to see the effect and choose the gear you think is the best.
Next is to start spot welding, where the tip of the spot welding pen fully contacts the material. Pressing the "ON/OFF Key" will cause the spot welding to occur once.
The reason why we designed manual mode buttons on the side is because they are ergonomic. Make manual mode easier to operate.
Indicators and Labels
The buttons are labeled.
Indicator light clearly corresponds to the label on the product.
You adjust a gear and the indicator light jumps to that gear, very accurate.
Temperature Control Protection
Lithium batteries are used in an environment of 0-60 degrees Celsius.
When you work for a long time and the temperature of the battery reaches 60°, the spot welder will stop working automatically, and you can turn on the machine when the temperature drops to the right temperature.
System Reset Function
Press and hold the "ON/OFF Key" and "GearSwitching Key" for 10 seconds, the system will reset the reset, the display is imagined to be a few seconds behind the display lights all blinking, indicating that the reset is successful.
Automatic Shutdown
The spot welder automatically shuts off after 8 minutes of no operation, ensuring safety, when you have other things to do, walk away and forget to turn off the machine and cause problems.

This was exactly what i needed and works great. Had a bit of a learning curve. i would recommend that you check the thickness of material you are welding before purchasing to be sure this will meet your needs. if not they do sell a really nice m or]e powerful unit for a bit more cost. defiantly satisfied

Welds form quickly and penetrate multiple layers of nickel strip. Really not happy with this spot welder. Had it on max level and it couldn’t weld a .2 mil zinc strip to a 18650 battery. It’s fully charged, tried both auto and manual modes but it barely even throws a spark. Zinc plate pulls right off with a minor twist.Save your money and buy something a little more powerful.

This item was so cheap i was suspicious, but after receiving it and having used it several times i can say this this works great. It comes with a small roll of straps and works as designed with them. When I use the welder with thicker gauge straps there's still no issue. There's more than enough power here to weld just about anything reasonable for this application. Great value.

I have tried the style of spot welder with a big battery pack and 2 long wires to the contacts, and yes, they work.This spot welder saved me an immense amount of time in rebuilding my DeWalt lithium batteries. Wow. Fast, easy, solid spot welds, and the battery lasted impressively.After 3 completed batteries, so 30 cells and 60+ connections of 4 welds each, this unit still had battery left and was functioning perfectly. It did get warm in the hand and I hit the thermal shutdown threshold once when I was working fast. It got warm (not hot) and stopped welding for a few minutes, cooled down and kept going. Not a big deal since I used the time to solder the balance leads on.So far I really like it would buy another if continuous production were an issue. Swapping between 2 of them could keep a person welding nickel strip all day.

This is what I learned after putting together 60 batteries. This welder is good, but it has to be on its terms. First, don't use this on tabbed batteries. That was a mistake. The tabs are thicker than the included nickel strip and the welder will have about a 50% success rate and welds break with the slightest mechanical movement. If you have tabbed batteries, cut the tabs off. The nickel strip included is perfect. Get more of that. Second, I noticed you get about 4 really good welds before needing to wait a minute. Seriously, once I learned to use this with a 60 second timer, things went a lot smoother. Third, the instructions will get you basic button operation, nothing more. Watch some videos if you never used one before. Once I learned about the tab problems and required time delays, I came to appreciate this little welder.

The automatic mode works great, but the manual mode takes a little bit to get used to. Because if you hold the power down for more than a few secs the unit turns off, you have to almost tap the unit to get it to work in manual mode. However, it is a very minor thing as the auto mode puts out nice even welds very easily. The instructions are simple to understand and the extra nickel strips and sand paper are a nice extra addition. Overall very well thought out packaging. Worth buying.
