Voltage Test
A slider appears when you tap on the Historical Voltage Graph, displaying the test time and the battery voltage.
Tap on date icon in the upper right and enter a calender, and date in red means abnormal voltage on the day(s).
Cranking Test
Every time you start the engine, the device will record the voltage data for 3 seconds and draw a voltage curve.
Cranking voltage is critical to vehicles! Knowing the cranking voltage fall under the normal value can remind you to charge or replace the battery in time!
Charging Test
Click “Start Testing”, it will automatically test idle condition voltage, then jump to Second Step.
Increases RPM as below and hold for 3-5 seconds until the High RPM Voltage Test is completed to see the charging voltage status.
Trip Recording
The Smart Sense app automatically detects and records trip duration, start, and stop times. (Many factors will affect the accuracy of the trip recorder. The trip log is for your reference only.)
Bluetooth Battery Monitor
With the Bluetooth 5.0 Technology, LNEX Battery monitor can transfer data up to 2 times the speed of the predecessor, Bluetooth 4.0, resulting in faster and more stable connection. Abnormal Alarm
For a 12 Volts system, the cranking voltage below 7.5V is abnormal; for a 24 Volts system, voltage under 15V will be abnormal. It might remind that you need to check or replace the battery in time!
Reverse Protection
Built-in Reverse-Polarity Protection will prevent damage to power supplies and electronic circuits in the event of a reverse voltage applied at the input or output terminals.
Short-Circuit Protection
Built-in electrical overload circuit breaker (Short-circuit Protection) can automatically shut off the circuit if the current is too high.

Got this to help with trying to figure out the issue we were having with our RV. After get the actual part needed, everything working again. Now the honey is always checking the battery life’s ALL THE TIME. this is a great product. Way worth the value.

I like the Bluetooth 5.0 extended range and reduced power consumption. It was easy to connect to the battery, download the app to my iPhone 14 pro, and connect via Bluetooth using the 0000 code. I placed the unit on the top of my battery using the provided 3M sticky. My 2012 Ford Fusion is outside in the driveway and I can connect with it from about 30 ft. away while sitting in the Kitchen. I received an alert this morning indicating that the battery was at 100% charge, which makes sense because I drove it late yesterday. I don't drive the car often and the battery drains slowly due to the factory security system/forgetting to remove the USB charger from the 12V outlet. After the battery went dead several times it was toast even though it was less than a year old. The attached pictures show my app settings, the alert I received reporting normal status, the app's voltage status graph, the app's cranking voltage graph, and the app's Trip log. I am still learning about the app. The true test will come next winter when it gets cold, e.g. will the sensor continue to work when it gets below 0 F?

I have a s24 ultra and this thing works 50 feet away in a open parking lot and works in my upstairs bedroom through multiple walls! I own a car where the battery is under the back seat cushion and it works fine,that's the problem with android there are 6 million different phones with vastly different hardware capabilities,Bluetooth versions...alot of the negative reviews concerning range and connectivity are probably people using low end phones? When I'm back in rang like walking from a store it connects immediately!If you have a new phone with Bluetooth 5 or greater you should be good! We will see how long it actually lasts but for 29 dollars you really can't beat it!

(previously)I've been trying patiently to connect this item to my smartphone (Android) with no effect at all.The battery in my car has been recently fully charged, and I did everything that was requested in theinstallation process. Have to check one last thing in the morning, and if unsuccessful, I'll have to returnthe product.(few days after)I managed to get it work.There is a fuse [for short-circuit protection] enclosed in the plastic part of the black wire, but that plastic part is bigger than a fuse and a circuit can't get closed. To evercome this situation, the factory put a ballpoint pen spring in the plastic part between a fuse and one of the connectors. Well, this may, but may not solve the problem, and in my case it was not functioning.I removed the spring and fixed (with a duck tape) both ends of the black wire to their plastic parts in a way that a fuse has contacts on both ends and closes a circuit.Very quickly, a car battery icon appeared on the display of the Battery Sense app and a Bluetooth connection was established after entering the password.[I've changed an overall rating from 1 to 3 stars]

Simple to install - connect 2 wires.Important: do not connect to BT in your device setup - connect in the BatterySense App.Initially. device couldn't be found in any phone or tablet. Had this issue with all 3 purchased for 3 different vehicles. Fiddling with the fuse and holder ( i.e. open, remove fuse, install, wiggle, tighten, ooen again and repeat, even install new fuse, etc.) finally got it recognized. Now i'm finally able to monitor all 3 batteries, especially since 1-2 vehicles are seldom driven.One youtuber said 100' range but i barely get 30'.

Needed a battery logger for my car. Ioniq 5. It has an issue with draining the 12volt battery leaving many people stranded.Took only a few minutes to install. App found the device quickly. I don't use the crank and run features due to the Ioniq 5 being an EV, full electric vehicle. Main battery is around 800 volts. But the 12 volt, regular car battery, runs the instrument panel and accessories, including door locks and starting the car.Even if I don't start the app for a week, the device stores all the data and uploads it to the app. I can see the battery voltage 24/7 ever since I installed the device.Nice graphic linear style. You can adjust the time frame from 1 hour up to months at one time.Very little current draw. Compared to the normal parasitic loads, this is nothing. Microamps. Internal battery discharge see s higher, lol.

Easy install. Works well enough. I need to manually connect to the device most times to get the information. Would be nice if it auto connected when opening the app at least. But would be good if it auto updated the app when connecting to the car. Would still recommend though.

Pretty rubbish quality as both positive and negative connector were not terminated correctly. Both ends where crimped with insulation covering the conductors. I had to completely remove and re-do the battery connectors so absolutely not worth the money and not worth buying. Save your money for something better quality and reliable.
