I’ve had this cat since she was 8 weeks old from a rescue. She’s been high anxiety the whole time (5yrs). I adopted her with her brother, and she stayed stand offish. You can’t pick her up and hold her, pet her on her terms, and vet visits were a nightmare. We moved and she was so stressed she licked her back leg so bad, it was missing most of the hair. I tried to take her to the vet, and she just wouldn’t have it. I ordered this cone as a more comfortable option and see if the leg would heal if she couldn’t reach it. You guys, the leg already has the hair growing back, and she’s a different cat with this on. She’s confident, calm, she cuddles, you can carry her, she’s the cat I’ve always wished she could be without medication. I ordered two more so I can keep them clean. I had to change the litter box situation to the breeze system so the cone didn’t get litter on it. And she could enter and exit easily. We coexist like family now and not a cat that tolerates me. This is like her comfort blanket that makes her so peaceful.

There should be a warning on collars like this with draw strings to tighten. Our cat was wearing this collar when he disappeared. We finally found him hung by the string getting caught between gate slates. We have been devastated and rarely let our cat out. I won’t show a gruesome picture and don’t know how this vendor could make this right. Please be careful in considering this cone/collar!

My cat had surgery and likes to crawl into small spaces which the regular cone would not allow her to go. It kept her from scratching or licking the incision site but allowed her more flexibility with where she was able to go.

Fabric is soft, but easy for cat to push off. I used it only at night because it was more comfy as a pillow, rather than stiff like the innertube style.

Comfy and nice! Great for my cat who got spayed recently!

My Cat has to wear the cone of shame for two weeks. The plastic one from the vet was obnoxious. She couldn't eat or go to the litter box. She doesn't like this one but it's soft and she looks like a flower child.

I like the collar but have concerns. It was easy to put on my cat, but I must tell you that when she was wearing the collar the tear drop plastic end got caught on a rod iron mirror while I was taking the trash out. When I came in she didn’t have the collar on. Thank heaven she was able to get out of the collar without strangling herself. I have since cut the strings shorter and removed the plastic tear drop ends as well. Just thankful I still have my cat. I really don’t know how to rate it, as I do like the material and the ease of use, it’s the strings need to be revised immediately before an accident happens.

Too bulky. Difficult for cat to eat and walk around. Buy a vest instead
