Installed this ChenYang PCIe usb 3.2 Gen2x2 card on a pcieX4 (Gigabyte Board) , the card performed very well, read & write speeds were great. A good price per performance. Hopefully it will maintain a long endurance.Also a decent 20Gbps usb cable is required for top performance.I used a flat USB (type E to USB-C ) around 20 in. It worked well to reach the front panel area.Using a NVMe drive in a gen2x2 enclosure , Great speeds.

I wanted a 20Gbps USB C port for my 20Gbps external nvme ssd enclosure I just got. Although I do have an empty PCIe x16 slot, if I add anything into the slot (even this x4 card), it'll halve the number of PCIe lanes available to my graphics card leaving it running in x8 mode instead of x16. I have a 3090 and I don't want to sacrifice any performance so I found an m.2 to PCIe 4.0 x16 slot riser adapter thing. It provides x4 PCIe 4.0 lanes to a x16 slot. I hooked it up, plugged in this 20Gbps card, hooked up my 20Gbps external nvme ssd and voila!I used the same drive and connected it to a 5Gbps port, 10Gbps port, and the newly added 20Gbps port. The results speak for themselves. Really happy with this janky setup I got goin on here lol. Didn't even know you could get an m.2 to PCIe slot riser until I looked it up. Best shower thought I've ever had.

If you are building a PC on a budget, you may have gotten something like the ASUS TUF X570 series Motherboard. But many cases have a front panel with a 3.0 USB and a 3.1 Gen 2 USB-C on it. But the board only supports the 3.0 USB connection. This PCIE board has the connection you need without spending an extra $100-$150 on an upgrade to the MB. It will eat up 2 PCIE lanes on the second slot. So, if you were looking at an internal capture card, then plan accordingly.

This card functioned as intended. I utilized various USB-C and USB-A drives connected to this card via a 3.5 inch 4-port front panel (2 USB-C and 2 USB-A) Very fast write and read speeds exhibited.

First, a note: this card won't fit in one of the shorter, 2.0 PCIe slots. However, it can be used in the longer PCIe 2.0 slots. I didn't look close enough; be prepared.You're not going to get 10 Gbps on any single connection. The description is confusing, but the fine print states, "...two data lines with 5 Gbps each are available." Even then, you're still probably not going to get 5 Gbps with this. I transferred a 1.55 GB file from the pixel to an NVME drive and it took about 40 seconds, maybe a little less, using the cable supplied with the Pixel 2 (i.e., no bad cable issues). By my calculations, that was about 0.3 Gbps (~300 Mbps).That said, I'm cautiously optimistic. The card appears to work, and I don't demand the top transfer speeds. I don't have the tools to fully test power delivery, however a Pixel 2 reports as "charging rapidly" when plugged in.

I have an InWin 301 case, an H370M D3H board and i was missing an usb-header connector on the main board.Now with this adpater i can access my smartphone data and fast charging at same time. Windows 10 recognized the new adapter without problems or third party software.In future i will install an additional graphic card. Therefore i need another position of this adapter. Therefore i bought an additional pcie-4 extender cable. Now i can arrange the adapter and future graphic card easily, too.

simply put, it does not work and windows has zero drivers for it. if I could find the 3rd card I purchased, I'd send it back too. get back to the drawing board.

Read speed is 340Mb on this cards USB port, and my on board USB 3.1 port read speed is 398Mb. My on board USB 3.2 port read speed is 424Mb. I am using a Samsung 256GB flash drive.

Bought to add USB C to my old motherboard. Bear in mind this is not Thunderbolt so doesn't carry video signal

Works perfectly no dramas on pci. However had to purchase a 90 degree adapter after the fact. I bought it through Amazon after. So waiting for it. Without a 90 degree angle it blocks another express lane at least unless your pc case comes with a 90degree front header connection which I doubt.
