I did order the longer legs for it, now it holds my viola comfortably and in a perfect position. Being able to fold the legs down allows it to fit in my case better.

I was a bit worried about this at first. Because the folding clips seemed kind of like flimsy plastic. But they have seen hard use for about 6 months now, and haven't broken. I got these because they fit in the Viola case folded up. The ones that don't fold won't fit and have to be carried separately, so these folding ones I can throw in the case are much more convenient. Also, nice cushion and comfortable rest. It also holds well on the Viola, nice and firm and doesn't slip around.

This shoulder rest is perfect! I originally had an Everest shoulder rest and while it was good, I just never felt truly comfortable playing with it. I just lost my Everest shoulder rest and I needed a new one badly because I'm going to String's camp in a few days. I decided to buy Kun since everyone uses it and it has such good ratings. It came in the mail one day earlier than it was supposed to!!! It wasn't hard to assemble at all and it fit my 16.5" viola perfectly! Southwest Strings also sent me a few coupons which was an added plus. Thank you so much!

The first Kun K400C I purchased fit my 16" Viola AND my shoulder like a glove. It is very comfortable to play with and after trying many other brands and models - the K400C is the one I like the best.Then I bought a second Viola and immediately bought another K400C... and this new one is Bigger... it does not fit the instrument (also a 16" Viola) as well has to be adjusted down quite a few notches... and is a much longer platform on my shoulder. Its not comfortable -I'm a tiny bit frustrated - because I am not sure how to order the K400C and get the "up to 16" " version in stead of this one: K400C 15" to 17.5" version. They're both the same name - and technically they both fit a 16" instrument - but they are definately different in How they fit and what they feel like.I dont like playing with this one - I LOVE playing with the other one I have - and so I've purchaed a Third one - and am praying that I get one more like the first one - than one more like this one... what will I do with two of these oversized shoulder-rests... sighOverall - the Kun is the best fit for me - I just wish there was a way to specify I want the smaller version that still fits 16".. and not the larger version that fits up to 18" viola.

Esta hombrera es ajustable, por un momento pense que le iba a quedar grande a mi viola pero no, le quedó super bien! Si tienes una viola 5/4 (o viola 15) le servira perfectamente si la ajustas a la medida deseada. Excelente producto

Ist meiner Meinung nach derzeit ein der besten Schulterstützen. Hatte früher Wolf-Schulterstützen in Verwendung, diese werden dann aber nach einiger ziemlich "wabbelig" und klappen dauernd um. Was dann auch nervig ist. Bei dieser Schulterstütze hatte ich diese Probleme noch nicht. Sie ist zwar schmäler als anderen Schulterstützen, ist aber für mich eher von Vorteil (ist aber Geschmacksache, denke ich). Man kann auch die Größe vom Instrument super anpassen mit den beiden Schrauben und den verschiedenen Löchern an den beiden Enden (ich hab mehrere Instrumente mit verschiedenen Größen - und ist weder bei meiner klassischen Violine, noch bei meiner Barock-Violine noch bei meiner E-Geige von Zeta ein Problem. Passt überall prima - man muss das halt individuell an jedes Instrument einstellen). Schulterstütze fällt auch nicht runter, wenn man das Instrument zwischendurch mal ablegt oder unterm Arm einklemmt. Aufgrund der Größe ist die Schulterstütze auch optisch nicht so auffällig im Gegensatz zu anderen Marken. (bei mir war beim Umstieg von der Marke Wolf eine kurze Umgewöhnung notwendig, weil die Auflage an der Schulter ein bisschen anders ist, weil die eben schmäler ist - habe mich aber schnell dran gewöhnt und würde jetzt nicht mehr tauschen). Also klare Kaufempfehlung von mir.

Most shoulder rests do not go low enough. This one was perfect for my 5'2" daughter. She played better right away. Nice curve to the shape
