There were a few with that spec but I went with the one released most recent. Advertised with 2 remotes but has 4 and look different than the other model. Was nervous because how many ratings was low (4.9 with 12 ratings) then realized everyone that gave a rating got the opener for free so I might have been the first to pay.Even though the instructions had been improved there is still a little more room. After going through a handful of YouTube vids I figured it all out. My gate is a 30 ft x 3 ft wrought iron gate and this motor moves it like it was on ice with no struggle. Overall I'm pleased with the unit especially for the price. Now here's the reasons I took off 1 star.1) Manual still needs work. *2) I could not find how to program the remotes. Not in manual or YouTube but found out by accident. 3) remote distance is not 100 ft, more like 20 ft even with my 2017 Ram built-in remote.* Don't know why programming is different on mine and not what manual say. Getting frustrated after many attempts then watching every YouTube vid I could find and giving up. Tried next day and just to be safe I used the manual unlock feature just in case for safety and if something wasn't done correctly. That's when the programming worked. It doesn't state that in instructions you must have it unlocked. All the vids show them with it locked.

The opener uses magnets on both ends of the gate to decide where it should stop. But plastic screws on metal nuts make the magnets constantly falling off, so the gate keeps malfunction. The first opener already has its motor burnt for not being able to sense the magnet to stop.

I am waiting on my fence permit from the city so unfortunately I haven't installed this yet, but I'll review it based on examining it and update the review once I finish the install. It comes really well packaged and everything was intact upon arrival. I don't see any missing pieces and it seems like a pretty straight forward install without any unexpected quirks or anything. The 1400lb/40 foot rating seems a little optimistic for the size and weight of the motor, but that's pretty much par for the course for all gate openers in my experience. I suppose if the gate were installed on perfectly flat and smooth concrete with low friction rollers it may work, but I'd prefer a little bigger motor for that size gate. I intend to pair this with a 16 foot gate that may be 800 lbs at most, and it looks plenty beefy enough for that size gate really. It'd be nice if there were more integrated features included, but this isn't meant to be a top of the line opener. It's obviously more an entry level gate opener and at the price it's offered, it's a heck of a bargain assuming everything works as expected. I'll update after installing it, but looking it over I don't expect any issues since it seems to be a nice, well made, quality opener. It's a lot of opener for the price offered really and you'd be hard pressed to find a better deal.

this is advertised coming with 2 infrared sensors yes the sensors are in the box. no connecting wires no instructions on how sensors should be installed. Been emailing the company 6 x and still not resolved, the opener works ok with their remote but using homelink is is impossible at times gate will open12 inches then close then repeats and after 4 x gate will open .
