I had to buy this cartridge because my installer made a mistake and install the water lines incorrectly so no water was coming out thru the hand-shower. The wall was already redone when he realized his mistake; so the solution was to replace the 3 position cartridge with this 6 Position Cartridge. Now we are getting water thru the shower head, hand-shower and both; the only problem is that there are three positions where there is not water at all coming out.
