These are great card slot punches. They come sharp enough to punch out your credit card slots in pretty much any leather, of course it never hurts to polish them up a little bit. Overall I have had great luck with them so far and would recommend them as a very affordableeffective card slot punch for any level of leather work ability.

The edges were not very ground very well, and we're not very sharp out of the box. However, I gave them a little time on the sharpening station. I used a jig, and progressively ground the edges from 600 grit to 3000 grit, the stropped them. Man are they sharp now. Almost effortless to cut with and hold a great edge. If you don't mind putting in the effort to sharpen them then they will work great for you. If you are looking for bench ready tools, you don't want these.

The smaller knife is very sharp and works great! The larger knife is not very sharp so a mixed bag.

These tools are pretty handy. I make leather wallets and I wanted a tool to cut perfectly straight credit card sized slots. These definitely do the job. They could be a little bit sharper but that shouldn’t be too hard to fix on my own.
