Works as described. The sensor is labeled as 'NTC' which strictly speaking means it's a negative temperature coefficient thermistor. For anyone trying to swap probes or fitting the probe in something I measured the following:Diameter: 4mmResistances (in ohms) @ Temperature (degrees C): 16.0 kΩ @ 0 C, 5.52 kΩ @ 50 C, 1.40 kΩ @ 100 CSince neither are specified in the product specifications, don't be surprised if they change in the future.

The product info didn't explain if settings are stored during AC power loss (blackout).I was glad to find: they are!If it was off, it stays off.If it was on, it comes on again.Temperature setpoints are kept too.So this tolerates power interruption just like a mechanical thermostat would. Handy!

This temperature controller was 220VAC but with the same voltage i connect to 120 volt and wors well too. I am happy with this purchase.Than you

This is absolute garbage. The instructions are a nightmare. So confusing and you can understand how to program it.

Yeah, Celsius is the worldwide favored temperature scale, but the biggest economy is STILL the USA which does everything in fahrenheit. This gauge doesn't allow fahrenheit readings.

Using this to monitor temperature of network switches, and drive 12v cooling fans if a set point is exceeded. I have seen some possible issues with the 110/240v version of this product, but I have no concerns at 12v. The PCB could have been a little thicker, the casing could have been sturdier, but no complaints at this price point and low voltage use. The displayed temperature tracks well against reference thermometers, +/- 0.2c. You may also wish to consider the STC-3018 (I do not have this - but it appears to show both the environment and set points on the display).
