This thermostat has been working well for me so far. I bought it to use in my greenhouse and it's been keeping the temperature right around where I want it, just above freezing. You can see from the photo how consistent it is. The setup was pretty straightforward too; didn't have any trouble figuring out the different modes and settings. One thing that did confuse me a bit was trying to use both the thermostat plug function and the time function at the same time, but once I realized they couldn't be used together, no problem.The digital display is really nice, especially since it has a backlight so you can see it in the dark (which is useful when you're checking on things late at night). The cable is long enough for my setup too, which was another plus. I think this thermostat would work well for all sorts of applications, not just greenhouses. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable way to control temperature.

I use this device to keep an outdoor cat house (feral cats) warm. I use a ceramic heat emitter to warm the house, but if it runs constantly, the house will get up to 80 degrees (freezing outside). So, I placed this device on the power source and set it so that it comes on about 45 degrees and off at about 55 degrees. It's now been installed for about a week, and it's snowing outside. No matter when I check the temp in the house, it's always about 50 degrees, day and night. This device is cutting on and off perfectly and maintaining a perfect temperature. It was easy to set up, and I have not touched it since plugging it in. The only minor issue is that I can't figure out how to get it to reflect in Fahrenheit.This was a much cheaper solution, and much easier to set up and run, than any of the wifi based options that I originally looked into. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Needed for climate control on root cellar. So far seems to work. Was easy to figure out and set up. Time will tell.

I use this connected to an oil radiator heater in our RV to keep the temps just above freezing during the cold winder snaps.It is reasonably easy to setup, I wouldn't say it is fool-proof, it could be a little better but I've seen much worse in regards to configuration.The unit has a lead cable on the temperature sensor which I like, it allows me to place the sensor away from the heater or the walls for a more averaged air temperature in the RV.This unit has been reliable for us, it does just what I needed it for to keep our RV inside temps slightly above freezing without using too much power by acting as a much more accurate thermostat than the dial on the heater.

Am using this to keep my dog warm. The winters in west Texas are very erratic and may go from 80 degrees one day to freezing the next. This unit will automatically turn on when needed and turn off when not, and is pretty intuitive to set up. It appears to register temperature accurately. It controls a catalytic heater element and a pet heating pad totaling maybe 300 watts. Recommended, especially for the price.

This thermostat works great! I'm using it to control an auxiliary fan I rigged up to a low flow air duct on the 2nd floor of my house. It's heating season here in Michigan and it's precise digital control has allowed me to raise the temperature 2 degrees and I am convinced it's going to work fine during the summer months with the A/C too!

You will not be able to figure it out how it works. The instructions included are laughably hard to follow.I have this connected to a small heater in my workshop and every morning it is cold in there. No amount of trial and error, re-reading the instructions, online research, or hoping and praying has made a bit of difference.Pick another option.
