This is hard core—great for locking an office door from inside very securely. Keep in mind that the vertical bar slants away from the door (does not rest flush against the door) when screwing down the silver floor stop. Solid and super secure—the door will absolutely not budge against intruders.

Works great! It was easy to set up and very effective.I used recently at a business hotel stay and shortly after setting it up , I was in bed when someone tried to open the door! The front desk in error had given someone else a stranger the same key/room assignment . Although , i immediately jumper up out of bed this jammed the door and would not allow the door to open enough for any adult to fit. Thank God i had this truly. !

I got this when I had to travel and stay overnight in a hotel by myself and it is very sturdy, easy to use, and made me feel a bit more comfortable being alone.

It is effective for what I needed in the short term - dementia wandering. You do have to make sure to pick the right spot on the door and push flush then tighten. Used in combination with other options it has provided more secure feeling.

If someone pushes in on a door with this stopper on it, it will fail. Do not expect this to work beyond holding a door open. I purchased two of these and the adhesive on the bottom metal pad failed to work and fell off allowing someone to push into the room it was holding a double door shut on. Would not purchase again.

The ease of this product is great and the size is perfect to carry with you in your purse or luggage when traveling either alone or even with your family. Having the extra ease of mind that you’re safe in a hotel room is perfect. I stayed in a hotel for work frequently and one night I’m glad I had this because someone who was drunk in the hall at 2am was trying to get inside my room. THIS IS WORTH THE BUY!!!

We thought the low-profile was great and that it was creatively engineered. However, our 2.5-year old boy had no problem yanking it out of place and getting to the door.I tried to tighten it more but as you tighten it, it pushes the door up and up. So, at some point you better stop before damaging the door.I tho k it is fine for toddlers that just learned how to walk but eventually they’ll outsmart this device.

I got this after my other more expensive doorjammer broke. I am so mad that I didn't just buy this one in the first place now that I'm trying it!The other one had a rough screw mechanism that grinded and skipped and took a lot of force. This one is smoooooth, it's quiet, it's easy to put into place, it has a soft backing on the part that goes against your door to protect it from damage.I used to dread when it would get late at night and I knew I was gonna have to get the other brands doorjammer under my door and fight with it for a couple minutes before it actually wanted to sit in place. It took 5 seconds max for me to get this one in!Highly recommend this one and there is NO opening that door if you have it in place. Gives me so much peace of mind living in a bad area
