Works best just after the home supply line cut off valve. After testing, as long as the wireless water detector detects water leakage, the auto valve will automatically close to reduce the house leakage loss.

This device seems to be good quality and works very well however, it does not have the ability to notify via phone or PC apps. There is no connection to the web available. The wifi is only local between the main unit and the leak sensors. Other than that, the product is quality built and it is nice that it contains Shark Bite type plumbing connectors which makes the connection easy. Just note that for 3/4" Shark Bite connectors, the insertion depth is 1.13 inches so allow for that when making the pipe cuts.Update: This seller is excellent and kept in touch with me regarding this product. I rate this seller Excellent (5 stars) for their concern and offer to refund the full purchase price. However, since it is a quality product, it will provide a high level of protection in my home so I am leaving it installed.

The sensor is very receptive, I put the wireless detector in the attic, and after detecting the water leakage, the shutoff device also receives the signal and closes automatically.

Adds a lot of peace of mind for us when we travel or are away from home that if we do have a sudden water leak, the system should catch it and shut off the water to prevent excessive damage.Install was easy and straight forward.

It is a fantastic kit, working perfectly, it saved us in one major incident and immediately shut off the value as soon as the water leakage was detected, I like that it alerts you when a sensor went offline.
