Fit my 1974 VW Thing. Took care of the death wobble I was having. My old one leaked all the fluid out and was doing nothing to dampen the steering.

Replaced the worn out leaky damper on my dune buggy with this new damper. It takes alot of the jerky motion out of the wheel when off roading. Good value, fast shipping.

Its a little larger diameter than stock so i had to modify the the mount on the front beam. It was hitting the bottom of my gas tank so i had to lower the mount on the front beam. Other that that it was an exact repalcement. I have custome built dune buggy, there may not be any issue with installing it on a stock beetle.
