I’ve been looking for smart water valve for a while now. I initially wanted the other large brand but paying $550 was bit out of my budget. Then came this which was great! I’ve been. Frizzlife customer for years and been very happy with their products and especially customer service. While this was new, I felt pretty confident I get the same experience. Installation was a bit tricky for me as my water shutoff valve was located outside and didn’t have a power source. But decided to invest and install this device. As expected, I had questions and Frizz’s crusty service was very responsive and thorough. If your a DIY and not comfortable with email support, I suggest you either higher someone. The app is handy, tells basic water flow and the ability to shut the water off remotely and or set alarm conditions for water pressure so you don’t get constant alarms. So far the price, service and functionality fits the bill.

I installed this in our vacation cabin, which is a great use case for a device like this. We are paranoid about developing water leak in the old plumbing and not being around to deal with it right away, so we like to turn off the water during extended absences. But that requires whoever is staying in the cabin next to find the old sticky valve in the basement to turn the water back on. Now with this we can simply turn the valve on and off remotely. The extra functionality, like the flow rate is nice, but not why we ordered it.If you are comfortable installing a manual plumbing valve you should have the skills to install this yourself -- but be aware that there are some additional requirements about where you can place it, orientation, etc., so that can complicate the install.The hardware seems solid and comes with what you need to install, but the app could use some improvements, along with integration with other automation systems like Alexa.

I deliberately simulated a household leak to test the reliability of the device,the device and phone really alerted me to the leak and automatically turned off the water valve , which gave me peace of mind,I will never have to worry about the water situation at home when I ‘m away on vacation

The real-time alerts are handy — I get notifications on my phone, which is especially comforting when I'm away from home. The pressure display is a nice touch, letting me keep an eye on things in a glance. It works well with 3/4 and 1-inch pipes, which covers my needs, and I appreciate the added peace of mind knowing it’ll automatically shut off if a leak is detected. It's a reliable, low-maintenance product that does what it promises.

I've had tooo many leaks over the years and I'm hoping this might help minimize the mess from future leaks. But I'm not sure if it will be able to tell the difference between a true leak and say a faucet trickling for a cat to drink from. I guess I'll just have to try it and see. The unit seems well designed and thought out. It seems to be well made from good materials. I'm very happy with all that. Now I just have to see if this works or is just another electric contraption.

I really love this automatic shutoff valve!I purposely tested it by leaving the faucet in a dripping state and it alerted me to a leak on my phone!
