Perfect option for your small shop. If an employee needs Scotch-Brite pad, he would have to manually cut it. It has reduced the cost of my Scotch-Brite pads in the shop, and I have been producing the same amount of work. employees seem to waste Scotch-Brite pads if it’s convenient.

I like that you trim off whatever you need and you don’t waste any. Way cheaper than buying precut pads.

I purchased this product awhile ago (3/2024). At the time, I was removing crud from my truck frame, getting it ready for paint.Since then, I have been slicing away at the roll for every cleaning project imaginable (3" at a time).>I used a few pads with WD40 to remove surface rust.>Cleaned up my stock pot. Regular scrubby pads just couldn't cut through the hardened residue.>Used pads with solvent for cleaning car parts.>After using rust inhibitor (phosphoric acid), the pads removed the dry residue quickly.> (With protection) used pads with grill cleaner (similar to Easyoff) to remove built up brake dust. The difference was amazing. See photos. Just a heads up ~ oven and grill cleaners react with aluminum.I have not tried it yet for knocking down a seal coat on wood. I may try it on my 5" orbital sander instead of sand paper. Who knows?My roll is undersized for the sander pad.Almost time for another roll.I will do some testing before summer. For those in construction, it may work as a bug filter in a rain screen. I need to see if it will drain or wick water first.

Body man of 18 years and these are thicker than scotch brand by a wide margin. They withstand heavy pressure and use.

Although the product is of decent quality it is advertised as being 5 inches wide. It is actually 4 1/2 inches wide.
